Ava helped me track my cycle and know when to expect my period. I’ve used it for a year while trying to conceive. I do wish that you could edit your cycle to match with your fertility treatments. For example, you should be able to mark if you’ve used a trigger shot to start ovulation. My cycle was always off because I was on fertility medication but Ava doesn’t recognize it. Needs more development for those working with fertility doctors.

I really do love this bracelet and the app! The only thing that is really unfortunate is that a replacement band isn’t available for the newer model and the little band that keeps the extra tail of the larger band broke very easily.

Herzlichst, Dein Ava Team

Positiv: to make sure that it works correctly I bought the Ovulation Test and interestingly enough the results always matched, even when it shifted my ovulation a day on the day of ovulation. Negative: once I should have ovulation according to Ava and I checked it with ovulation Test as well, but when the doctor checked, there was no ovulation in that cycle!! The same happened a second time When blood test showed an ovulation in 12th and Ava was continually showing 14th and even later found the biphasic pattern and assured that it was 14th but according to blood test, which is more accurate, it was definitely done till 12th. So I started to doubt about it’s accuracy. It also guaranties the pregnancy within a year but it took me a year and a half to get pregnant.

Great for tracking fertility! I got pregnant the first cycle I used Ava as it showed the best days and was accurate.

Ava markets itself as an ovulation predictor as well as confirmation of ovulation. Neither of these things are really true. If you join the Ava community of Facebook, they tell you as much, including the administrators. That Ava is not designed for that, when that's exactly what the marketing leads you to believe. You still need to use OPKs in order to truly nail down your fertile window. Ava is basically an obscenely expensive thermometer and data tracker.

I do not recommend this product. I have been largely underwhelmed with Ava from multiple aspects. The app frequently crashes or fails to sync, despite being updated. I daily get a notice that the data failed to sync with the server, although it does, in fact, sync. The bracelet needs to be charged for two hours daily. This is the most high maintenance device I own, even more than my cell phone which I obviously use much more than this bracelet. Additionally, the keepers (both) broke within the first six months, and the strap leaves a red rash around my wrist. I have an irregular cycle and another previously undiagnosed medical condition that affects my cycle. Ava's algorithm did not adjust to my cycle which is outside of the 30 day norm; additionally, when my cycle was approaching 70 days I got no suggestion from Ava to call my doctor or take a pregnancy test. When the first day of my next cycle started, Ava went right back to the 30 day cycle prediction. I started using LH testing strips, and ava's prediction of my "fertile window" was off by over a week. When I did recently become pregnant, I switched to the pregnancy module and Ava failed to recognize my last cycle at all, and put my pregnancy over 10 weeks more than it currently is! Instead of being at 6 weeks, it suggested I was 17 weeks! Overall, this product has been highly inaccurate, poorly designed, and has poor App and Customer Service support. I do not recommend this product to anyone. For the cost of this product, and no ability to return it (outside of their mandatory compliance and a failure to become pregnant within one year), I am highly unsatisfied.
