AVAAZ is onafhankelijk, cruciaal in deze tijd! AVAAZ ziet waar de nood het hoogst is, ook op plekken en voor mensen die niet direct in het nieuws staan ( daar doen het Rode Kruis en AZG al goed werk)

Avaaz is a non-profit organisation who work on issues that really matter; such as human rights and environmental issues that affect people all over the world. I do fully support their work, appreciate their transparency, and feel that the work they do can lead to changes.

Avaaz zet zich wat mij betreft op de juiste manier in als het gaat om maatschappelijke en politieke veranderingen. Grote issues als klimaatverandering en mensenrechten gaat men niet uit de weg, maar worden behapbaar gemaakt in aparte campagnes. Dat maakt dat ik vaak mee kan doen, stem kan geven aan mijn eigen overtuigingen en ideeën, en me niet machteloos aan de kant voel staan. Ik kan iets die doen, vanuit mijn eigen positie en omgeving. Het netwerk is internationaal en heel breed. De manier waarop 'de tegenstem' wordt georganiseerd spreekt mij aan, geweldloos, en door druk te zetten door petities, mediacampagnes e.d. Af en toe wordt er een bijdrage gevraagd voor specifieke acties (als b.v. voedselhulp en ondersteuning in Gaza).

This organisation is helping to make the world a better place. I am happy to support them on a regular basis.

Avaaz is fearless is supporting causes that benefit all of humanity and our vital ecosystems! I also trust that they are utilizing people’s donations to make the best possible impact. Avaaz amplifies the voice of ordinary people from around the world.
