AvaazAvaaz is a global web movement to bring people-powered politics to decision-making everywhere. Avaaz—meaning "voice" in several European, Middle Eastern and Asian languages—launched in 2007 with a simple democratic mission: organize citizens of all nations to close the gap between the world we have and the world most people everywhere want. The Avaaz community campaigns in 17 languages, served by a core team on 6 continents and thousands of volunteers. We take action -- signing petitions, funding media campaigns and direct actions, emailing, calling and lobbying governments, and organizing "offline" protests and events -- to ensure that the views and values of the world's people inform the decisions that affect us all.Any questions or concerns please message us on our contact us form: https://avaazhelp.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

I am moved by the concerns which Avaaz introduces us to and seek donations for. I am, however, disturbed by the fact I know nothing about the organisation apart from what is given on their emails- no idea about their origin, management structure, leadership and above all their financial accounting. It would be good to see some accounts sometme and be assured that donations are properly used. . Derek UK

Thank you for your thoughtful review, Derek, and for supporting Avaaz! We completely understand your concerns. Transparency is very important to us, and we want our members to feel confident about how their donations are used. Avaaz is 100% member-funded and is a US-registered 501(c)(4) nonprofit organisation. Our financial records, policies and procedures are independently audited every year. You can learn more about how we work here: Why donate to Avaaz? -https://secure.avaaz.org/campaign/en/why_donate_to_avaaz/ And you can find our financial statements here: Avaaz Expenses and Financial Information -https://secure.avaaz.org/campaign/en/avaaz_expenses_and_financial_information/ Thanks again for raising these important questions!

Lasst euch was Anderes einfallen!!!
