I wasted over 2 months with this "company". They advertise full edit and proofread of a manuscript but do not deliver. I had given them 3 updates over the 2 months they were allegedly working on it for me only to find out in the last version that none of the work was ever done. Zero story spine discussions and the proofreading was minimal at best, using something like Grammarly. I literally ended up doing all my own proofreads and even had to point out all they missed. Instead of reading the text, they auto populated corrections which were not wanted or needed, based on it being a southern novel. No one could tell me the first detail about the book I submitted to them. The "team" they use are not writers. "Sarah" was supposed to my lead but she never completed any of the work and her boss "Daniel" never followed up on any of it. I used quotations around their names because they will not give you their real names. I honestly felt that they were a scam company, but I was refunded by them. I had to insist on the refund and even threaten legal action to get it. I do not think they are an ethical organization, they do not deliver what they claim to, not even close to it. Additionally, it appears most of their positive reviews are on books you cannot even find as published. I would recommend that you avoid this "company" and the promises they make.

These guys are straight up con artists, who charges 2,000 dollars for an audio book? something AI can do for 25 bucks. When I called them out, they shut up and never continued to comment. If any so-called publisher charges high amounts like 2000 dollars run for the hills, they are straight out conning you.

As a first-time author, it was very difficult to find and chose a publisher. After speaking to the sales rep at Authors Publishing House, they seemed to be a good choice, so I thought. From the very beginning, I grew suspect of their legitimacy, as once I paid my money, they started not to make any sense at all. I submitted my manuscript for editing and after several weeks, I received a horrifying edited copy of my book that looked like a fourth grader did the editing. When I spoke to my primary contact, he informed me that I was not supposed to have received that copy, as it was just an internal document. From there, things went downhill. After months of back-and-forth editing, which I had to do mostly myself, the book went to press and I eagerly awaited my first copy. I was shocked at what I received. The placement of the table of contents was wrong, the dedication was at the end of the book, and the margins were atrocious. Perhaps it was naive for me to think that a book publishing house would know how a book is supposed to be set up. Live and learn. It took months to get it right and to this day, the margins, gutter, are so bad you have to really split open the book to read the sentences in the middle of the book. After "Downsizing Is Not For Cowards" was available, they started their sales pitch to market the book. Understand that it was always implied that the package I purchased included a marketing plan but for another five thousand dollars, they would get my book out there. I vehemently argued that the ROI on that investment was far too risky on an unknown author. They basically said trust me; you will make all of your money back and lots more. I figured I'd have to sell about a million copies to break even. These people in my opinion, are unethical, deceitful and incompetent. My second book is close to being finished and I would never consider using them again. Author beware!

I had a conversation with a male represented. My story was too much for him to handle. He first fell silent, and when he didn't respond, I hung up. When I phoned him back to explain why I needed their assistance to finish my abuse series and convey the story, he just hang up. You didn't want to publish a graphic tale with this company. The representatives don't want to talk about or hear about the efforts to increase awareness for victims of abuse and criminality, and they can't bear the reality. They have failed in a humiliating way.
