Absolutely terrible experience — avoid at all costs!
I don’t usually write reviews, but this company deserves a warning sign in big red letters. The delivery quality is absolutely awful — unprofessional, sloppy, and borderline insulting. Items arrived late, damaged, and with zero care or communication.
In the beginning, they talk sweet, act all friendly, and confidently promise a “100% satisfaction guarantee” with a refund if you’re not happy. Don’t fall for it — it’s a complete joke. Once they have your money, good luck ever hearing from them again, let alone getting a refund. It’s a scam disguised as customer service.
People need to stay away from this business. Save yourself the frustration, time, and money — go anywhere else.

I've been burned three times with ghostwiting/editing companies, so I'm cautious to screen editors and get references. I want local talent as my genre is 1750's colonial America. AH referenced one book available on Amazon. AH said the author agreed to speak with me.
His photo and bio are on Amazon. We had a two minute or less chat as he was busy. I was surprised the fellow had a heavy foreign accent... I'm guessing from India. THE CATCH: Amazon bio photo shows an older Caucasian man. His bio reads..."My experiences as a stockyard worker, bank teller, military veteran, journalist, editor/co-publisher of a city magazine, and journalism professor contributed to writing this book." The book is on the Gilded age in America which is why I favored this potential author as a reference. I don't believe the fellow on the phone was the author of the book referenced on Amazon.
I called my AH guy back. He stuck with his story and said I had a problem. This is my fourth bad experience with so-called ghostwriter/editor companies masking off shore workers as local talent.
Be cautous and check your references carefully.
My contact details...need his phone number?

The desire of your staff member Chris…
The desire of your staff member Chris who did everything to get it right. I was disappointed with the first attempt to launch the ebook data which was all over the place. The finished product should always be submitted to the author for approval before launching. This would have produced the fifth star.

Thank you Robert for your feedback and for acknowledging Chris's efforts. We apologize for the initial issues with the eBook launch and appreciate your suggestion to submit the final product for approval before launching. We value your input and will use it to improve our process. We're glad you are satisfied with the final result and hope to earn that fifth star in the future.

Authors Harbor gets my highest recommendation!
I have recently signed with Authors Harbor and I am ecstatic I did. Dan, my project manager, is the absolute best! His attitude is so very upbeat and positive and he applies his positivity to the project at hand! Dan is extremely open to my feedback and he happily integrates my desires and my suggestions. I have only great feedback about Authors Harbor. I am so glad I chose them to work with and complete my project. I certainly would choose Authors Harbor for another project and would do so without a second thought! If you have a inspiration about your book, trust Authors Harbor to bring it to fruition and a satisfactory completion. You get no adverse attitude from Authors Harbor. They are very positive and they genuinely enjoy working on the project by your side! My utmost recommendation! You will not regret!
