In my personal experience, trusting Authors Everest is the single worst creative decision I have ever made. This is day 3 of writing emails demanding my money back for services unrendered, and I will not stop until I have recouped my $300. With a very careful understanding of how slander works after speaking with two friends who are lawyers, in my personal experience I have never endured the level of customer service they have provided me with, and I am personally confused at how they are still in business. I will take this review down when I receive the refund I was promised. This hellish for me experience has lasted since January.

Update as of 2/23/2026 They appear less than ethical or moral of doing business with. Contacted again to hold the team accountable of written, voice recorded promises. Email received from Richard their rep and I am still getting the run around routine. At this point it's no longer about a refund they put in writing along with verbally recorded phone calls. Hope this review helps someone.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This was the worst experience. Edits were not done correctly multiple times. I would tell them simple things like quotation marks and periods and they still wouldn't get them. I ended up doing all the editing myself. When I finally got tired of the incompentency, I asked for a refund as I was not getting what I paid for. They turned to intimidation and bullying tactics to try and deny my refund. I eventually got my money back by disputing with the credit card company by showing evidence through numerous emails over months of the unprofessionalism and incompetent work. It was a learning process in who not to choose for self-publishing.

I went to Authors Everest after being Scammed by Ghost Writers Hub. All started well. I of course paid $9,000.00 up front for illustration and marketing. After the money was received communication nearly stopped. Telephone numbers no longer worked. Only e-mail contact. Additional money was demanded to obtain copyright. I decided to get the copyright myself. Checked the reverse images for my Children's Book Characters and discovered they were all copyright protected images. Unable to proceed with my books because the illustrations were not original works. I don't believe there was ever any intention of Authors Everest getting my books published. They simply strung me along for months getting my money. I filed disputes with my bank and credit card companies for the $9,000.00. So far all the disputes have been settled in my favor. I'm still waiting on 2 disputes to be resolved but, I will get my money back! If Authors Everest has your hard earned money... immediately file disputes with your Bank and Credit Card Companies. You will get your money back. With enough claims against them, Visa and Mastercard will stop allowing Authors Everest to process Card Payments. They bill under: Branding Brilliance, New Mediatech, Techtura and other shell companies. They are part of a large scam out of India and the Philippines. Beware!

Up until early December, contact was frequent & I was feeling happy to move forward with them for publication and marketing after I Paid a large amount for publishing and marketing but since been ghosted. No responses to emails or notifications of them on a break if this is the case. My book now at a stand still & looks like I'm down money. Would love someone to contact me to resolve this & get my book on shelves as promised by Authors Everest company. No responses to emails and not been able to contact via phone? Hope I hear some positive feedback from them soon.
