I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PERSON
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COACH, READ BEFORE PURCHASING! The diet is not tailored to you—it’s a “one-size-fits-all” strategy until it stops working for you. I initially started losing weight with the “eat more, but eat right” approach. For the first three months, I thought it was working. I was losing weight, and I felt like I had finally found something sustainable. But then I started gaining weight back, and eventually, I was gaining it quickly. The amount of food recommended eventually caught up with me. When I reported that I was gaining weight again, I was told to “trust the process.” I did. I gained even more weight. When I finally asked to stop, I was told that it was my fault because he “didn’t know” I had a stressful job—even though I had specifically mentioned this during my consultation (AND WHO DOESNT?) I was then told that I needed a mental health specialist instead. What was especially disappointing was the lack of flexibility and accountability when the approach clearly wasn’t working for me. I also requested a reimbursement—not for the time he had already spent working with me, but for the months I had paid for in advance and would no longer be using. He refused to reimburse me. The entire experience made me feel worse about myself rather than supported. Another thing I found misleading is how he presents himself. He is not an MD or a medical doctor; he is a coach. I would strongly recommend looking carefully at the terms and conditions at the bottom of the website before purchasing the program. Once you buy it, there is no reimbursement and no guarantee that the program will actually work for you. Ultimately, you are paying a significant amount of money for texts of encouragement, and one fits all macros. You could download a calorie-tracking app, find a friend to keep you accountable, and get better results without spending A TON of money. Ironically, after I stopped following his macros, I started losing weight naturally again. For me, the program felt like a very expensive, somewhat still robotic version of a phone app. Easily and more efficiently replaceable by AI.

I respect anyone’s right to share their experience, but I do want to clarify several statements in this review that do not accurately represent how I coach or how my program works. First, my coaching is not a “one-size-fits-all” strategy. Every person starts in a different place. From there, we have weekly check-ins where I monitor progress, adherence, behaviors, lifestyle, job demands, daily habits, and the things that may be making consistency easier or more difficult. Based on that information, we make small changes where needed so that the plan continues to fit the person and they can continue moving forward. My overall approach to nutrition is actually very simple. I want people to be able to lose fat, get stronger, improve their health, and still eat foods they enjoy. We establish an appropriate starting point, monitor how someone responds, and adjust along the way. Sometimes that means changing calories or macros. Other times it means working on meal structure, snacks, activity, training, or specific behaviors that are making adherence difficult. The numbers are only one piece of coaching. I also want to address the statement that I told someone they “needed a mental health specialist.” My online coaching is not medical care, and I intentionally keep those two areas of my professional life separate for many reasons. I do not diagnose medical conditions or refer my online coaching clients to medical specialists as part of their nutrition coaching. Mental health is certainly not an area of my expertise, and telling a coaching client that they “need a mental health specialist” is not something I would do. The statement about a lack of flexibility and accountability is also difficult to reconcile with how my coaching is structured. One of the primary components of working with me is ongoing communication throughout the week in addition to detailed weekly check-ins. Those check-ins exist specifically so that we can see what is working, what isn't, and what needs to change. Sometimes the next step is adjusting nutrition. Sometimes it's training or activity. Sometimes we're simply working on one or two behaviors or habits that will make the following week more successful. The goal is always continued progress, not perfection. I also want to clarify the statement about how I represent myself professionally. I have never claimed to be an MD or medical doctor. I am a Doctor of Chiropractic and a Certified Medical Examiner, and I am also a fitness and nutrition coach. I am very open about my credentials and have never represented myself as anything other than what I am. Before someone even begins working with me, I make an effort to speak with them personally, explain how the program works, answer their questions, understand what they're looking for, and determine whether we're actually a good fit. I don't believe my coaching is right for everybody, and I don't expect it to be. I will always respect someone's right to decide that my coaching isn't right for them. What I won't agree with are statements that are disingenuous, and fundamentally misrepresent what I do, how I coach, or how I represent myself professionally.
