I strongly caution any beauty business…
I strongly caution any beauty business owner considering working with Auraline Beauty for private-label or custom manufacturing. What makes this experience particularly difficult is that Auraline was not a new vendor for me. I had worked with the company for years for private-label products. I had an established relationship with them, which is why I felt comfortable trusting Auraline with a much larger investment to develop and produce two products for my beauty brand. In June 2025, I entered into an agreement with Auraline for turnkey production of two products. Between June and November 2025, I paid the company a total of nearly $30k. That investment was supposed to cover the work necessary to bring the products to completion, including sourcing, decorating, filling, labeling, assembly, packaging and custom cartons. Nearly $30,000 later, I have not received a single finished product, only approved samples. In January 2026, I was told that one of my products, my brow serum, was complete and ready. The second product had experienced delays attributed to component sourcing and was later expected to be completed by March 20. Because I wanted both products shipped together, I agreed to allow Auraline to hold the completed brow serum while we waited for the second product. Then communication essentially disappeared. Beginning at the end of March, my attempts to get updates went unanswered. I followed up repeatedly by email and phone. Emails eventually began bouncing, calls went unanswered, and at points phone numbers were disconnected. I was left without the finished brow serum I had been told was complete, without the second product, without the components and packaging I had paid toward, and without meaningful information about the status of my inventory or my money. I am an established beauty business owner, and this wasn't a casual purchase or a small wholesale order. I trusted Auraline with a significant investment in the development and relaunch of products for my company based in large part on the relationship we had already built over the years. The impact goes beyond the $30k. I lost months of production and launch time and ultimately had to begin the process of finding other professionals to help me move these products forward. I made repeated attempts to resolve this directly before sharing my experience publicly. I formally requested the release and shipment of the product I had been told was completed, the release of the assets and inventory associated with my projects, an accounting of the funds paid, and the applicable refund. I still do not have the products I paid for. I also want to be clear about why I am naming Debbie Chow. Debbie was the person I knew as the owner/president of Auraline during my years of working with the company and during the period relevant to this project. She was also very instrumental and hands-on during this process. I have since seen an online profile describe her as a “former” president of Auraline. I cannot speak to her current title or relationship with the company. My review concerns my experience with Auraline and its leadership during the period in which my projects were being handled. I have documentation supporting what I've shared here, including invoices and payments, emails, project communications and my attempts to resolve the matter. If you are a beauty entrepreneur considering Auraline (Debbie Chow and her other brands) because you've worked with them successfully before, I especially want you to understand that I had, too. My previous experiences with the company are exactly why I felt comfortable entrusting them with this project. Unfortunately, that history did not protect my business from what ultimately happened. I wish I had known that before making this investment.
