Dear Ms. Lang,
Your comment is at complete odds with your 10-year history at AudioSparx including your voluntary consent to the AudioSparx license terms when you first came on board in 2013, repeated communications with our team since then, plus our history of paying you accumulated earnings. These things all reflect deliberate, willful participation here on your part.
You wrote us in 2022 saying that you were intending to license your catalog apparently on an exclusive basis to some new company. We informed you again at that time that your license to AudioSparx is both a perpetual and a non-exclusive license and that you are free to license your music on a non-exclusive basis to any third parties you wish, but not on an exclusive basis. That remains true today.
Regards,
AudioSparx Team

Splits are unfair to the artists
Splits are unfair to the artists. I regret signing any rights to audiosparx. If I could retract them I would.

Dear Mr. Waugh,
Thank you for being a valued member of the AudioSparx community. The music industry is highly competitive, and we face various challenges such as financial recessions, global pandemics, war, and substantial competition. Despite this, we have been able to survive for 27 years while over 160 competitors have failed.
While we would love to offer a more generous revenue share structure, our operational costs make it impractical. It's worth noting that some of our competitors pay as little as 10% to 35% revenue share for certain types of earnings, while we offer a consistent 40% revenue share across-the-board for all earnings and revenue.
Thank you for your understanding in this matter.
Best regards, AudioSparx Team

The company can improve if they let us…
The company can improve if they let us remove our songs from their site. They hold us captive.

Dear Mr. Toberman,
Thanks for the feedback. Your license with AudioSparx is strictly a non-exclusive license, and AudioSparx does not own your music, although it is a perpetual license. The reason for the perpetual non-exclusive license is to avoid disrupting the shopping process for our professional clients who may take months to complete a license purchase. A takedown during this time can be detrimental to their project, as they may have already incorporated the track into their production. Additionally, if you participate in our digital distribution services, a takedown could result in the removal of entire albums and a loss of revenue for all artists involved.
We disclosed the terms of our license agreement upfront and have not changed them after the fact. Our goal is to prevent harm to our clients and artists by avoiding damaging takedowns. It's important to consider the financial aspect of the music business and how disrupting pipelines of monetization can be counterproductive to your own interests. You are still able to license your music to any third-party at any time.
Thank you for understanding these important issues.
Best regards, AudioSparx Team

Music Creators Beware
Be very careful what music you give them as their contract is forever and cannot be renegotiated or terminated - EVER. You will never own or be able to use your own music again - Audiosparx will own it. I was foolish...
Response from AudioSparxApr 4, 2023
Dear Mr. Lurman, thanks for the feedback. Your license with AudioSparx is strictly a non-exclusive license, and AudioSparx does not own your music. You own it and you can license it to any third-parties you wish. We do have a perpetual non-exclusive license in place for multiple absolutely legitimate reasons:
1. To avoid disrupting the shopping process for our professional TV/Film/Ad Agency clients who frequently take months from the time they shop for music for a project and their post-production period when they are ready to complete the license purchase. A takedown during this interim period can be devastating to the client's project because they typically have already cut the track into their production for internal preview/demo purposes.
2. You are also participating in our external digital distribution services via compilation albums, and a takedown in this scenario requires removal of entire affected albums which destroys the revenue stream for the other artists who have tracks on the same albums.
Plus, the terms of our license agreement were fully disclosed to you up-front and we do take a hard line on the perpetual aspect of the license to avoid harming our clients' production cycles and damaging the other artists who participate in our digital distro service here by disallowing damaging takedowns.
Also please consider that the music business is ultimately about laying down pipelines of monetization for your music with reverse pipelines of money flowing into your bank account, and disrupting these pipelines by taking down your music is counter-productive to your own interests, and you can still license your music to any third-parties you wish at any time. Thanks for your understanding on these important issues. Regards, AudioSparx Team

DV8 Media commenced a license to our company, agreeing on their own volition to our license terms, and then uploaded dozens of tracks to our music library.
Subsequently, apparently due to a change of heart about our perpetual license terms, they first claimed they never agreed to the terms of the license. Next they claimed it was not possible they could have licensed us their catalog because they sold it to some third-party four years earlier. And then finally, they claimed someone stole their music and impersonated them to enter into the license agreement.
All of the forensic evidence we collect and obtain during the registration and licensing process is in complete contradiction to these meritless claims. The email address they wrote us from was the exact same email address that they used to register on our site, which was validated up-front via an email link click.
In spite of our license agreement having a perpetual term, it is also a non-exclusive license, and they could have licensed their music works to any other parties on a non-exclusive basis at any time while still earning money at AudioSparx. In any event, rather than waste our time and money fighting in court with these liars and idiots, we agreed to terminate the license and took all their music down yesterday (February 12, 2021). Now today, the very next day, they come on TrustPilot to slam us.
We have been in business for over 25 years now and represent the music from over 7,000 artists, composers, producers, publishers, ensembles, and bands around the world. Please feel free to read over 50 testimonials from artists who have participated with AudioSparx for over 5 to 10 years here: https://www.audiosparx.com/sa/testimony/artists.cfm
The only fraudster here is DV8Media and the only artist they seem to represent (Waconzy) seems to be equally mentally deficient. You'll note they claim on their Linked-In profile the following (as of February 13, 2021):
"dv8media have developed specialist software for eCommerce and integrated business systems; in the last 12 months our eCommerce sites have served over 5 million visitors and efficiently processed over £20m in online transactions."
And yet, if you try to surf to their website listed in their Linked-In profile, the site doesn't even come up at all. Enough said?? A word to all the other music libraries out there, stay far far away from DV8Media and artist Waconzy, they are unprofessional and have no hesitation to lie about anything at all to try to push people around.
