Atmosphere is the second publisher I have worked with. I have published two of my books with them and a third is process at Atmosphere. They are best hybrid publisher I have come across. What has distinguished them first and foremost is the quality of their personnel and hence the excellent professionalism they render. Their editors have definitely made me a better writer. There process is real and well run. I have not encounter any of errors, or omissions I have had with other publishers; and important me is the stability of personnel. Some many of their staff are also writers and this has lead, I think, to a genuine writers focused. They are hands on actually want to make your book the best it can be. However, publishing is a business and their services have to be adequately monetized. They also provide the full range of services for marketing and supporting your book(s) after they are published. They are necessarily cheap, but you get a lot for your money. Lastly they always follow through on their commitments. I recommend them to any author is seeking a hybrid publisher for their work.

I started to work with Atmosphere Press in the fall of 2022 and my novel, Triskele, was published in March of 2023. They have a very comprehensive process once your book is accepted: editing, content editing, book cover design, etc. They are completely professional and supportive throughout the process. And the best part is that the author has the final word on all decisions. I can’t recommend them highly enough!!! They were outstanding!

It has been five years since I published with Atmosphere Press and I had a surprisingly excellent relationship with all from the acceptance to the excellent editing to the executing of the cover, publicity....truly all the steps to the final copy and then supplying the copies and lots of etceteras here. I hope to publish another book with Atmosphere Press..........I'm working on it!

A great hands on approach that allowed me input into what I had created, and gave me the ability to bring my vision to life. The team was kind, straight forward and always there to answer any questions and help me through the process. A great experience and will and would use them again.

Working with Atmosphere Press on my first novel, "The Alzheimer’s Cure", has been an exceptionally rewarding experience. Over several months, my manuscript went through two rounds of developmental editing, complemented by multiple video meetings where we discussed thoughtful and constructive ways to strengthen the book. It was also proofread twice to ensure the highest level of quality. I collaborated closely with the team on the cover design, and my ideas were consistently heard and taken seriously throughout the process. Every stage of publication was handled with professionalism and care. Since publishing my first book with Atmosphere Press, they have released two additional titles of mine, with a fourth well on the way. Having now worked with them on multiple projects, I’ve come to know the staff far better than one would through a single book experience. I have already published two books (both non-fiction) with a small indie publisher. I went into it thinking the publisher would actually care about my books (they didn't), about me as an author (they didn't), and how they could help expand its visibility (they didn't). With my debut novel, I wanted a different experience wherein I would get more professional support, live human editors (versus AI), and a dedicated team to give my book its best possible chance for success. Enter Atmosphere Press. From my first contact with them, I knew I was in very capable hands. Everyone on the expansive team is highly experienced, with backgrounds in writing/publishing, but more importantly, they've all treated my book with great care and respect. I have a gorgeous cover, thanks to the design team, and my dev editor caught things that none of my beta readers and TWO ROUNDS OF PROFESSIONAL EDITS did not catch (even as I paid a lot of money for them). My novel launches in a few months and I have every reason to believe it will do well, with Atmosphere's professional marketing support. I would highly recommend working with them, assuming your manuscript gets accepted. (I did learn they have very high standards for what they'll take on, to protect the integrity of their brand as well as the other authors currently in their catalog.

Atmosphere has gone above and beyond in every way! They have been amazingly encouraging yet at the same time patient, so I never felt rushed as an author. The process never felt "assembly line," but, rather, very personalized. The staff is extremely experienced, and some are even award-winning writers in their own right. I believe the staff has treated my book with great care--I would even go as far as to say they have treated it as though it were their own! Atmosphere, as a hybrid press, offered me unusual control over my book, both artistically and financially--as well as legally--and this control has been very important to me. Other than the expense of the packages I don't have any complaints regarding my experience with Atmosphere Press. (I purchased the least expensive package so there is a lot on offer that I did not have access to.) The people were friendly and helpful. Response times are good IMO I always recieved a response within 48 hours. My developmental editor was THE BEST! she could see what I wanted to do with my story and asked questions to help me get there, on my own, so it was me doing the rewrites (not her). My cover designer did an AWESOME job with my cover I am so pleased with the outcome I smile every time I see it. My line editor/copyeditor was amazing catching all kinds of things no other coach/editor had and, no doubt, saving me from some embarrassment had all of that gone to print!
