Their attention to detail is the kind that makes you quietly embarrassed about the things you missed. If I had to single out one area where Atmosphere Press truly excels above everything else, it would be this team. The interior design and layout crew deserve a mention too. They handled the manuscript beautifully, and I loved what they did with the final look of the book. Highly skilled, full stop. Elana, the distribution manager, kept everything moving efficiently right through to the end. The proof copy arrived at my Sydney address quickly and without any fuss — exactly what you want at that stage of the process. A few practical notes for anyone considering Atmosphere Press: they do offer a solid suite of marketing and publicity options, including social media support. I haven't used these myself — the price range sits outside my current budget — but they're there if you have the funds, and I have no doubt they'd be worth it. For this project, Dimitri and I have taken on most of the marketing ourselves, and that's been fine. Kyle, Alex, and Tabinda also kept the whole timeline running smoothly behind the scenes, handling regular communication and making sure nothing slipped through the cracks. Overall? It was a wonderful experience. The Bright Side of Life came out exactly as I'd hoped — a polished, professional memoir that does justice to Dimitri's incredible story. If you're weighing up hybrid publishing and have the budget for one of their packages, I'd recommend submitting your manuscript to Atmosphere Press without hesitation. You'll be in good hands.

With the approach of the release of my first book, I can honestly say that working with Atmosphere Press has been both a pure delight and the security blanket I needed to transform my raw scribblings into a great finished product. Their professional team has so many good people to successfully lead you through the processes of developmental editing, proofreading, interior layout, exterior cover design, as well as audio and promotional services. All the proofreaders and interior design team were excellent. From the very beginning of that process, Chris Beale was so knowledgable about cultural details that he corrected my memories as to the proper cigarette pack name in a 1960s commercial or a mistake I’d made in the year a movie came out. It was great working with Ronaldo and the others from Atmosphere Press; personal approach to the task of creating the most appealing book cover from visual, content and even symbolic point of view. Many questions and answers were exchanged before the idea of what is the most important message of the novel was agreed upon.
