Atmosphere PressReviews of atmospherepress.com

I have published 2 books using Atmosphere Press. They are a highly professional and skilled publishing house. They knew exactly what steps to take to bring my book to life and made the entire process seamless. Their team is expertly skilled, professional with an easy to work with demeanor. They made my experience fun. Most important, they offered invaluable suggestions to ensure the success of my projects and worked diligently to polish every detail. If you're looking for a publisher who truly understands the intricacies of the industry and provides expert guidance every step of the way, Atmosphere Press is the perfect choice.

The only reason why I am leaving a 5-star review for everyone at Atmosphere is because I cannot leave a 10-star or 20-star review. Working with Atmosphere was the best business decision I have ever made. I first met with Kyle McCord, who is not only a fantastic editor but also an incredible writer. He is the reason why I chose Atmosphere. I wanted him to read my manuscript and give me his PhD trained, professional opinion. He liked my book and working with him was the most pleasurable experience I have ever had as a writer. He's kind, brilliant and gifted. Ronaldo's a brilliant artist and gifted listener who takes the time to understand your book and creates cover art that will blow you away and make your work perfect. The entire staff is supportive, attentive, and accessible. I'm going to work with Atmosphere again. This is the place to be.

Signing with Atmosphere was a wonderful decision for me. The editors and designers created lovely books for my historical mystery series. I am so fortunate to have found them.

The editors at Atmosphere Press worked with diligence, intelligence, and efficiency. The designers are creative and supportive. The books Atmosphere Press publishes win awards and offer great opportunities for writers to share their ideas through beautifully produced books. Many presses suffer from elitism. Atmosphere Press is truly democratic, collaborative, and efficient. This press is helping to cultivate a culture of authentic literary citizenship.

Publishing is a process, and each phase requires professionals: a whole crew of editors, layout advisers, cover artists, proof readers, publicity managers, website designers and more. Atmosphere Press offers skilled expertise in all the areas writers need. This means professionals like Alex Kale, Ronaldo Alves, BE Allatt, Erin Larson, Cameron Finch, Elana Sederholm, Evan Courtright, Hayla Allawi, and many more. More important than their expertise is their personal support and caring, their attention to detail, their eagerness to respect the author’s work and the author’s freedom to have final control over their books. I have a Ph.D. in comparative literature, have written articles and a book for University Presses and scholarly journals, but publishing for a wider audience means tapping into areas I know little about. Atmosphere Press provides the kind of expertise that makes my novels possible.

Atmosphere professionals in all areas, editing, cover design, proof reading, are top notch, on time and extremely knowledgeable. It was a great experience. Irene Sullivan, author of Born and Raised to Murder: A Failure of Foster Care

I love the services that are provided by Atmosphere press. I feel like they improve more and more especially now that they have different publishing packages so that you have a breakdown of everything you get when you publish your book with them! - Julianna

Any great company is great because of the people it employs. Special kudos here to two of Atmosphere Press's outstanding employees: Ronaldo Alves and his cover design staff, and Cameron Finch, and her staff of book publicity specialists. Their attention, care, and ideas were pivotal to The Bones of the World living in the world today.
