Fees were not transparent, and the final cost was several thousand more thanhan expected. Items were lost from storage, and extensive damage to items. Overpriced insurance would not cover all damages. Damage also to my newly built home, which was also not covered. Horrendous experience, adding significant stress to a difficult move. This company is a disaster. Reported to BBB, but the company would not respond.

Am currently having to cancel a much anticipated move because they played bait and switch. We gave the agent the sizes of our storage units, he gave us a quote, and I even asked him to recheck because it looked too low for the items. I didn’t notice that in the contract he dropped a zero off of the cubic feet. It went from 3000 to 300. We received the “quality” call about the pick up on Monday, and we discussed with the driver the amount of space required. That will make the price almost 10 times the quote. Do not use this company, major bait and switch. On top of everything, we are out of pocket $500 for airline tickets, and $400 for rental cars, a weeks vacation time and still have to probably cancel!

I would give Atlas zero stars if I could. The management for this company is horrible and you get zero customer service. Reviews from other sites indicate that they are good for short distance moves, but if you’re moving out of state or across the country, do not use them. Their hidden fees and shady business practices will come back to bite you. My initial estimate for a 1 bedroom apartment move was a little over $6500 - reasonable for the distance I moved. Now I’m looking at over $13,000 and I still don’t even have my stuff. If you’re not available for the delivery of your goods within the 3 week timeframe or you can’t take time off work, then don’t bother with this company. They will not work with you whatsoever for the delivery of your goods. They simply charge you a hefty storage fee and overtime if you request a weekend delivery - which is not communicated to you before hand either. The lack of communication is appalling- once they pick up your stuff you will not hear from them unless you call repeatedly and send multiple emails. At this point I’m not sure I will even get my things, let alone what kind of condition it will be in.
