Customer Service Terrible/They won't return defective products
Unless ordering a food item or something like that (which are all overly priced) do NOT order from them. I needed a blood pressure cuff. I looked and compared to CVS and other stores you can use your insurance OTC/FSA cards at, Medline was actually fairly priced. I got the item pretty quick. I've been checking my BP and it's been showing abnormally high numbers. It's a wrist cuff so after about 5 days I decided to watch some videos online to make sure I was using it properly. The doctors all said wrist cuffs are known to be inaccurate so I pulled out an old one I have and checked it- it showed a normal reading. Home arm machines are uncomfortable and it's why I was hoping the Medline wrist one was better. I Contacted Medline- they said they don't do returns and they transferred me to my insurance company. When I talked to them they said I had to talk to Medline. 2nd employee at Medline again said they don't do returns I needed to talk to HAP. Then she did say they can return it for the same exact item if it's defective but that is the only option. She had a huge nasty attitude about it so I said forget. I worked in C/S for several years, I think the proper way to respond would have been to say "I'm sorry to hear that the product is defective, we can exchange it out for the same one for you" or even "these are our options" before even saying anything else. I will never order anything from them again. Absolutely terrible.
