The beat and only way to describe these guys is clickbait.

No real news...oftentimes very small percentage of the article is on the headline and the rest is repetition of old background info to fill space and accommodate more ads. Most articles are on controversial, divisive topics with headlines to match; clickbait to sell ads. Recent article on an excerpt of an interview of Dr. Allison Barber at the Economic Club of Washington DC in which Dr. Barber clearly stipulated that her remarks were off the record. Athlon Sports published them anyway, even including the 'off the record' qualification in the headline. I posted a reply with no foul language, name-calling, etc. calling out Athlon Sports for this unethical behavior. After several days Athlon Sports removed my comment with notification that it violated their policies without stating what specific point in their policy was being violated.

I'm blocking Athlon Sports. Way too much "much-a-do-about-nothing" articles. Trying to create drama from normal occurences.

Bill Simmons is a mean angry middle white guy who has no athletic abilities who some how was able to manage to get his word out to a large audience. Clark would smoke Bill and leave him wetting his pants.
