Many people have rated in comparison to PAID server hosts that are built to handle more complex situations. However, I have found Aternos to be more powerful than it even should be for a free server. My friend and I play a mod pack available on twitch called "Roguelike Adventures and Dungeons" that features 180 individual mods, which the server can actually handle. If a free server host can accept and tolerate an abundance of mods, then it 100% deserves a 5 star rating. Aternos is great for playing almost anything with a few friends, which I'm assuming is mainly the purpose of their website. If you are looking for a host that can handle tens of hundreds of players in different locations, look for a more powerful paid host. Because it is free, occasional lag spikes and wait time will be a factor, but they have definitely been working to reduce these issues. Depending on the day of the week, I usually do not have to wait more than 5 minutes for my server (fully modded) to load up. In conclusion, rating it low in comparison to paid hosts is not very fair.

Very reliable, stable and fast from what I've seen on my private little 4-slot server. I don't know how good this service is when you host bigger servers.

Aternos works fine for private servers for playing with friends, but if you have a big server I would recommend you to pay for a paid hoster.

hi very very good

Honestly this service is free and is on my "don't run on this domain" for adblocker. Service is good and they upgraded so its faster loading times! so instead of 40 wait its cut to around 3.
