DO NOT USE! I paid a ONE TIME fee of like $5 to talk to a vet about something one of my animals was going through and every month they take like $35 out of my account. And there’s no way to cancel it because I didn’t make an account when I paid the $5. So they are scamming people. They need to be sued.

SCAM!!!!They charge you hidden fees every month!!!Once you pay that initial fee you are scammed for a lot of money. Try to cancel is nearly impossible! RIP OFF!!!!

I was happy to pay for the advice which I urgently needed at the time. Though the advice was to take my dog to the nearest vet. However, now I am being charged a monthly fee which I did not agree to. They say it is a membership program so they can't make refunds. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!

If I could give this 'service' a zero, I would. I had a middle of the night, one-time consult regarding my dog. I was charged $5 for the contact and $55 for the service provided. Not a problem. A month later, I was charged an additional $55, $28 for a subscription ("cancel anytime") I never signed up for, and additional $5 fees to try to resolve the issue. And to resolve the issue, I was sent to a website populated with lawyers and ended up with a secret subscription to THAT website I had to cancel. I still haven't been able to cancel the AskAVetonline subscription or have the additional fees that have been charged to me refunded.

I wish I could give it a zero rating . Do not use this online site. They will bill you $55 a month without telling you this is a total scam. And they are absolutely no help whatsoever.

I told her everything I already knew and the only thing she could suggest is put water in the cat food really no one told me it was gonna cost $65. It said a five dollars and then they took that money out of my checking account and they refuse to give it back to me. Do not use these people. They’re awful.

BEWARE of negative billing. I used this service and paid the $5 service fee for a vet chat. Which I gladly paid at the time. Buried deep in the small print is a monthly membership fee of $90. They use the "sense of urgency" of pet owners calling about health concerns about their pets-- to ensure people don't have the time to read volumes of small print. I don't even remember creating an account or setting up a password, but after figuring out how to log into an "Account" I managed to cancel the membership-- after they got $180 from me. Service: The advice I got was, nothing more than what I had googled online. I had a vet appointment scheduled and was hoping to get advice on whether my dog's issue was EMERGENCY VET (NOW) OR REGULAR VET (2 DAYS). If you think you are using this service one-time, be aware that you are agreeing to an ongoing $90 monthly charge.

No one should ever contact this company. They promote a very inexpensive charge for a visit/consult with a Vet. There was no discussion of ongoing charges of $65 every month. I had to open a Dispute file with my Credit card company to reverse these payments. I had no idea I was paying for this service as it was not discussed at the appointment with the Vet. They took my Credit card information to pay the fee for he first visit. They are a SCAM and no one should ever schedule a visit with them unless you want them to take $65/month out of your credit card for absolutely nothing.
