I chose this restaurant because was advertising live music- entertainment and when arrived we were advised that not tonight
I chose this restaurant because it advertised live entertainment, and I made a reservation expecting that experience. When I arrived around 8:15 PM, there was only one table occupied. The space itself is very nicely designed—and I opted for a cozy couch seating area ; for a proper dinner I recommend table . The couch was cozy and ok for a drink and a bite . Unfortunately, the server informed me that there would be no entertainment that evening, which was disappointing since it was one of the main reasons I chose the place. Despite that, I decided to stay and make the most of my evening. They were running a buy-one-get-one drink offer . I ordered the khinkali, which I really enjoyed, and the grilled lamb, which was just okay - wish was more tender; but was tasty . The salad, however, felt overpriced at $21 for a small bowl. For dessert, I had a slice of Napoleon cake—it was a large piece , very good, but again priced at $21. I also tried Georgian wine. As a Romanian, I was curious and hoping for something similar to our wines, but I found it to be lighter than expected. Overall, I had a pleasant evening because I chose to relax and enjoy the moment after a long week at work .The service was good - the restaurant was empty ( by the time I left notice few others outside in the patio - maybe 3 couples) )and the ambiance is appealing, nice decor- However, the lack of advertised entertainment and the relatively high prices left me somewhat underwhelmed. Interestingly, the only other table occupied was two couples, and before they left, they stopped by. We discovered we spoke the same language, and it turned into a very nice, unexpected conversation—definitely the highlight of my evening. I will return if will be some form of entertainment in the future.
