Terrible platform; would give it a zero if I could. Have been interviewed for roles based on cold outreach when I was rejected by AshbyHQ. Trash software that doesn't seem to consider a candidates experience or profile and boils you down to a single number. Employers that use this platform are lazy and/or cheap and aren't looking for the best candidates for a role.

They were the hiring platform for Sunday Robotics AI. As of March 2026, Sunday Robotics AI appears to have dropped of the face of the planet as that’s the most recent date any of their info can be found. However, AshbyHQ is still promoting job applications via Sunday Robotics website. You will get an email from AshbyHQ stating you’ve been hired for a 1 week trial by Sunday (email dated 7/29/26). They advise you to download the Sunday Robotics App. The App won’t open unless you copy the URL to safari browser. Then supposedly you will get paid for uploading personal video data to the App. The App is called Memory Developer. The App states it’s developed by Sunday Robotics. Huge red flag. AshbyHQ and Sunday Robotics are working in tandem to scam you. You won’t get paid for your time and the videos you submit are graded and feedback given telling you the video needs to be redone. Allegedly, you only get paid for video they accept. I quit after all the App glitches and feedback that never gave a solution to their problems. I also deleted all videos I uploaded. Stay away from these scam AI companies.

The system seems to filter out good candidates that meet or exceed the requirements listed on job forms, it honestly seems like a very bad system to use.

They destroy the idea of hiring by selling a magic pill called "perfect match". Completely eliminate the human element and ruin any opportunity for a career change or professional growth, treating candidates like garbage: an unproven technology, AI machine - blindly affects people's lives and careers.

If I could leave zero i would. So many auto rejections for roles I know I tick all the boxes for. If you're an employer avoid. If you see ashbyhq next to a listing, skip it.

Very poor service and misleading advertisement

Similar to what everyone else has said, they're a closed system, they provide no feedback and I highly doubt they're doing anything to improve candidate pipelines other than shrink them. When I see a company is taking their applications through Ashby, I just pass now.

Dog s**t service. There was one position I kept getting automatically refused that I was perfectly qualified for. Sure, I get maybe I can fail the interview, but I met all the requirements to at least get one. I kept getting almost instantly rejected. I just checked and it turns out every time that happens, ashbyhq is running the recruitment. I reached out to a couple of groups and they stated that I should have gotten an interview with my credentials and resume and they were confused the software blocked me. But that's what you get when AI now makes hiring decisions. Don't use them, they are dog s**t.
