ARZ Host is a web hosting company that provides reliable, reasonably priced hosting services. For the most part, I love them. The only significant drawback I have encountered is the lack of access to many basic hosting tools and administrative functions. Far too many routine tasks must go through their supposedly 24/7 customer support team, which, in my experience, doesn't seem available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. As a result, getting even simple tasks completed in a timely manner can be frustrating, if not impossible. Support tickets for routine issues, such as updating MX records or making DNS changes, can sit unnoticed for days, especially when submitted on a Saturday or Sunday. That's just the time it takes for someone to acknowledge the ticket, let alone resolve the issue. That's why I keep my primary websites with another hosting provider, where I have the tools and administrative access to manage virtually everything myself, on my own schedule, without depending on someone else to handle tasks I can and should do myself. I genuinely like ARZ Host, but until they give customers more control over their hosting environments, improve their support team's responsiveness, and make their advertised 24/7 support a reality, I cannot justify trusting them with my most important websites.
