Artizen was a complete scam
Artizen was a complete scam. Promised matched funding and instead only returned your money with a 10% payment fee. Founder faked a health emergency & ran off with the money.

Artizen is a fundraising platform designed to support breakthroughs in art, science, technology, and culture. Our mission is simple: help creators raise money for ambitious projects while giving communities a direct way to support the ideas they believe in.Creators on Artizen launch projects and offer digital collectibles called Artifacts to their supporters. When people collect Artifacts, they directly fund the creator’s work. These sales can also unlock match funding and prize pools from funds sponsored by organizations, communities, and philanthropic partners. This creates a powerful system where community support helps determine which projects receive additional funding. Each season on Artizen features a collection of themed funds focused on different areas such as public goods funding, frontier technology, culture, film, and open research. Projects are curated through a combination of community voting and fund leadership, helping surface promising work while maintaining transparency and fairness in how funding is distributed.Artizen is used by artists, engineers, scientists, filmmakers, and entrepreneurs who are building projects that might otherwise struggle to find support through traditional funding systems. Our goal is to make it easier for creative and technical innovators to connect directly with the communities that care about their work.Since launching, the Artizen community has helped fund hundreds of projects and distributed millions of dollars in support. By combining community participation, transparent funding mechanisms, and experimental coordination tools, Artizen is exploring new ways for society to fund creativity and public goods. If you’ve supported or created a project on Artizen, we’d love to hear about your experience.

It's a great place to direct your supporters to, where any contribution a project receives is generously matched, amplifying your runway towards increased chances that things will get done. Try out for yourselves.

I used the Artizen platform to fundraise for the Greenpill Cape Town project and was paid out in full today. The payout process is long and detailed; I had to jump through numerous compliance hoops but so worth it!

Think about abundance for creators and innovative thinkers and Artizen is first place. My favourite feature is how encrypted and automated the platform is. Shouts out to David from Hiphop Africa for introducing us to Artizen. Hats off to Rene

I used this platform to fundraise to attend an education program in Spain through a series of community projects and it was a wonderful experience. Rene was so helpful and prompt with support and it's allowed to me envision fundraising in a whole new way! I couldn't be more thrilled!

This is the most rewarding platform for creatives and innovators and I think it's a community every global citizen or Changemaker should belong to

I've known Rene as one of the visionaries behind the XR era back in 2015, so I was observing the transformation of Artizen through the early stages. Being part of the last seasons helped me to actually see how the system is built and how fundraising is sort of gamified to motivate creators to work with their audiences and fan base/donors by giving a chance to get a bigger piece of the prize fund or matching funds. That's exactly the system we need to motivate ourselves to push more, as Artizen gives us possibilities, but we still have to make our work right and have responsibility for our own projects, not waiting that someone would suddenly donate out of blue.
