Fantastic Rapid Design Tool
I've been developing elearning for about 10 years, and like a lot of people I started with Adobe Captivate. While it was fairly easy to use, it was really geared for software demos, so any other interactive elements often required going to Flash, which definitely has a much steeper learning curve. When I first heard about Storyline, I was thrilled with it's list of capabilities and convinced my department manager to get me a license. As soon as I worked on a project with it for the first time, I was hooked! I found it very easy to learn, and with variables, states and triggers, I was very impressed with the ease with which I could put together more complex interactions. Having used both Storyline for several years now (with a recent upgrade to the even more powerful Storyline 2), I can say it is an essential tool for any elearning developer!
