Rating: 0/5 stars. AristotleK12 is literally a digital prison and it’s ruining my life. Trying to load a single webpage through this garbage software takes so long that the spinning loading wheel of death makes me want to slam my face into my desk, and my GPA is literally in the trenches because of it. It has the biggest power trip ever—it will aggressively block a completely normal educational YouTube video my teacher just told us to watch, but then it completely ignores some sketchy, virus-loaded unblocked games site. The funniest part is that it’s so stupid it literally blocks the school's own website for "security reasons," so I can't even open the PDF of my homework that's due in two minutes. It acts like a calculator app is a literal bomb threat and treats a basic Google search like I'm trying to hack the FBI. If AristotleK12 was a person, it would be that annoying kid who reminds the teacher to collect the homework, snitches on you for literally just breathing, and then trips over nothing and falls face-first into a trash can. I would honestly rather use a carrier pigeon to do my schoolwork.

This spyware Yahu Tech bans ANYTHING that you can think of. For example, Capcut gets blocked because it's a """file hosting""" website. WTF DOES THAT EVEN MEAN?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Some of the worst atrocities in human history don't seem that bad compared to this spawn of Satan from the deepest pits of Hell. I feel extremely paranoid of searching anything on these laptops without the fear of the IDF soldiers behind this spyware intervening and saying "Nah."

I absolutely loathe Aristotle as a service. I can count the times it has worked, rather than the contrary. I, along with other teachers in my district, have been complaining about the lack of abilities this software has against what it claims to offer. I have worked in the software industry before, so I understand that bugs can occur regularly; however, the bugs are affecting the main functionality of the software. I have children who are able to open up new tabs while in testing mode (they're not actively monitored because it's saying they're not connected). My school has brand new Chromebooks and great internet connection. Additionally, I have had my students manually clear their cache and cookies to see if this can help with the connection, but it hasn't. It has been an uphill battle, and even with the help of our schools wonderful tech team, Aristotle is still falling short of all expectations. This is in addition to the horrible interface that is not intuitive. So, as a tech-savvy teacher, who has worked in the software industry in the past, I highly DO NOT recommend this software. I will be pushing for our district to try a competitor with better reviews when our contract is up. Note, while I was employed at a software company, I was not employed in a competing software company.
