They recently took over Panther Logistics. They have one person working weekends on the Laredo team as busy as they are.Freight coming in from Mexico. No phone calls etc. The one person barely speaks English and is inexperienced. Freight, times, loads, are all mixed up. Don't be surprised if they send you on a load and it's wrong after you've wasted time. They also have a "new system" they have been working on for the last six months but no one knows how to properly use it. You will call in and ask a question and dispatch and Fleet Experience are more than happy to say they can't answer your question because they don't know how to use the new system. This company is becoming more of a joke. Don't book loads with them. Don't work with them either. YOU WILL REGRET IT. !!!

ABF Freight / Pennsylvania Truck Lines: Two Failed Deliveries, a Disrupted Construction Project, and No Response I am extremely disappointed with the handling of TWO separate shipments of a nearly $1,000 Feather River door purchased through Home Depot. The first delivery was supposed to come to my residence. The driver refused to bring it up my road, forcing me to meet the truck elsewhere and transport the door myself. This was particularly frustrating because large commercial trucks and semis have successfully traveled this same road delivering lumber and other construction materials. Access was not an impossible obstacle. Perhaps if a driver is uncomfortable maneuvering a commercial delivery truck on a road that other semi-truck drivers have navigated without difficulty, the company should consider assigning that driver a smaller vehicle more suited to his abilities. To prevent a repeat of that experience, I ordered a second door and had it shipped directly to my contractor’s address. Unbelievably, the second delivery encountered the same refusal to deliver to the designated location. My contractor had to insist that the driver complete the delivery. When the door finally arrived, the packaging was severely crushed and torn. My contractor photographed the condition of the shipment and refused delivery rather than accept a potentially damaged $1,000 door. This is not simply an inconvenience. It has disrupted an ongoing home construction project. I have had to coordinate with my contractor, rearrange installation plans, spend considerable time dealing with Home Depot, and now wait for a refund before I can even place another order. My project remains unfinished because I cannot get a door delivered in acceptable condition. These repeated failures have cost me time, created unnecessary complications for my contractor, and delayed improvements to my home. ABF Freight and Pennsylvania Truck Lines were identified in the shipment tracking. I have reached out regarding these experiences and, so far, have received no response. Two separate orders. Two delivery failures. A disrupted construction schedule. And no meaningful accountability. I would appreciate an explanation from the companies involved, including who was responsible for the final deliveries and what will be done to prevent this from happening a third time. I have photographs documenting the condition of the second shipment.

From the initial call from Michelle T. in San Antonio to handle billing and final delivery by my driver Chris, it was all handled to my expectations. I truly felt they both worked to provide me the best service possible. Would not hesitate to use their service in the future.

Did not pick up pallet as promised and had to contact them to learn why. Eventually had to pay them to switch to another carrier and was promised a refund. Refund didn't happen until I disputed original charge with credit cared company and I'm still waiting on promised refund for the replacement shipment. I was told I had to wait 30 days post delivery for them to hopefully get an invoice and then they could process it. I don't trust them after it took them 3 weeks to process the original refund and have had to dispute the second charge with my credit card company. I knew it was a red flag that they insisted I pay for the replacement shipment, but they had wasted so much time in shipping I did not have time to find another service.

This company was a 4.5 star company until their merger and restructuring. The corporate machine is in action and you can feel the corporate ways now. Try to get a terminal on the line. Try to ask them to do anything that helps the customer. good luck! It's ashame as they sacrafice the service and care towards long time customers because now they can make more money for the big wigs while cutting jobs and service to their customers.

ArcBest lacks transparency and their associates are rude. Would recommend customers and carriers avoid working with this brokerage at all cost. Save yourself the headache.

Damage the product , not responding on claims , Insurance is useless

Believe it or not, I absolutely loathe writing a bad review. I have written very few in my life. They held my delivery hostage because of (supposedly) incorrect Hazmat information. They picked up on friday, hauled to their yard for pre-scheduled monday delivery. Customer service is abhorrent. They claimed that the one and only person in the company that could work on and release the load for us to pick up didn't come in until 2 (they knew we went home at 2 because our delivery window was 8 to 2, coincidence? probably not). It took me 48 hours to get our load released so we could pick it up. When I called to get the load released for pick up, the one and only person in the company that could schedule wasn't starting work until after 10 .... 2 hours after I called. I will never, ever, again use this company to deliver for us.
