Would give zero or below if possible. Original LG fridge was so bad Sears replaced completely after years of multiple service calls per year. Have had LG replacement for less than 5 years and it had never been reliable. I was resigned to never having in-door water and ice, but then freezer and fridge quit working at the end of Sept 2021, with $2000 worth of my husbands insulin being stored in it. Multiple calls, us ordering the parts and having them shipped to our house so we were sure they’d be ready for the technician has left us with a tentative repair date of DECEMBER 14!! Completely unacceptable. Never buy LG or any appliance that A&E services.

Do not buy LG. The warranty is serviced by A+E. Read worst views online! Waited 2 months for appt. no show! Service center said “Truck broke down”. Read hundreds of reviews on consumeraffairs.com giving the same excuse. Do Not Buy LG,

Life is NOT Good We purchased an LG French door model refrigerator in June 2018. On 18 August 2021, the refrigerator stopped working. We contacted LG who put us in contact with A&E Factory Services. For the first appointment on Saturday, 21 August 2021, A&E was 'no call, no show'. We called several times afterwards and finally talked with someone who told us that was just a "preliminary appointment" and not a "confirmed appointment" - even though we received phone confirmation and email confirmation stating this date and time were confirmed. We had to wait until Monday to speak with someone. On Monday, they apologized and rescheduled the appointment for 26 August 2021. A technician came out and changed the compressor. The unit still did not work. He said he had to order a condenser and it would take 5 days. He came back on 1 September 2021 with the condenser. The unit STIL did not work. He wrote it up as 'can not be repaired; needs to be replaced'. However, A&E said they wanted to send yet ANOTHER technician. We said we did not understand why another technician needed to come out but they assured us that was their protocol. They set up an appointment for Saturday, 4 September 2021. Another 'no call, no show' for the appointed time (8a-12p). We called when they did not arrive and were told to wait until 5p. Again - no one showed and we did not receive a phone call. On Monday, 6 September 2021, we contacted A&E customer service. The representative was RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL! She told us that the repair person was sick and they were looking for someone else. We asked why no one called to let us know. She did not have an answer. We asked for our next steps. She got belligerent and then HUNG UP THE PHONE! We called A&E and were told told we had to wait ONE MONTH for another appointment! It has been almost THREE WEEKS and we still do not have a refrigerator! We are now trying to work with LG and they keep referring us to A&E - even though the repair person changed two parts and deemed it irreparable!!! We have done our due diligence to work with both companies but keep getting the raw end of the deal. We lost hundreds of dollars in groceries, in addition to hundreds of dollars we have had to spend to purchase food on a daily basis for four people over the past few weeks. We are frustrated and quite disappointed in this process, and especially the lack of customer service and inconsiderate responses that we have received.

When we built a new house in 2017 we chose an LG refrigerator. Big mistake. In the first year it broke down (bad control board) Now three years later it quit again (bad compressor this time). These things are junk, don't buy one!

Caution: If you purchase an LG product from a store- such as Costco-my item was a refrigerator, your warranty is void if it is not professionally delivered or installed. Spent 5 weeks trying to get a defective door replaced only to receive a email from executive services: requires that the unit be delivered and professionally installed at the time of delivery. Due to you picking your unit up from the dealer we will not be able to process your door damage claim. Please call customer support for further assistance at 800-243-0000. And when you call that number, you are connected to nice people in the Philippines... but they can do nothing to resolve or help with the issue.

Well my lg washer broke again we have had it for 4 years and it broke 3 times already! So the gentlemen was going to come out to fix it but it is a stackable, so he won't fix it REALLY! So I had to contact Home Depot it took awhile to get two repair men to come out. They are coming today personally I think we paid for a lemon. We spend over $1700.00 for the pair and warranty. WE WILL NEVER BUT A L G AGAIN, YOUR PEOPLE ARE RUDE AND LAZY. I SHOULD GET A NEW WASHER. SINCERELY MRS. CARLENE RAMIREZ

Zero stars!! I Paid extra to have dryer installed and it turns out delivery guys damaged dryer. They left it as a loaner till the replacement arrived. Little did I know they damaged the pedestal also and hid it from me. The new delivery guys with My replacement dryer pulled out the dryer attached to the pedestal and there's a huge dent on the side facing the wall. I called LG they told me nothing they can do it's been more than 48 hours. Even though their delivery team damaged it. I called every different number. I paid extra for delivery so this wouldn't be an issue of installing it wrong or damaging it. But little did I know they just want $ and don't care at all about the consumer. Paid 3,000.00 For a brand new damaged pedestal and dryer. Don't buy from LG. You'll regret it.

LG = I learned from personal experience is really short for “Loads of Garbage” = it’s another Corrupt Corporation! "Life's Good" they say - yes - for them when they take their customer's money by escaping paying up for services due. The crooks are laughing. Their refrigerator warranty explicitly states "Food Loss: You will be reimbursed for food losses resulting from the operational or mechanical failure of Your refrigerator or freezer up to $250 per appliance over the life of the service Contract." They are still not reimbursing us for our food loss. Can you believe it?! Naked, open and blatant corruption. Our LG Instaview stopped cooling properly more than 2 weeks ago and we lost a fridge-load of food because they did not come to repair our fridge for more than 2 weeks even though our LG fridge is still under warranty! Their technician finally came and repaired it. After that we answered all LG's questions on their phone text message questionnaire regarding the food compensation application. These loads of garbage (LG) finally replied: "Thank you for your submission. After careful review, we are unable to approve your request.” “Careful review”??? We will never buy LG again. We were going to buy an LG OLED tv this March but not anymore. We'll probably buy Sony. LG you have made a loyal customer of 20 years very unhappy. I and my wife will do everything in our power to discourage anyone in our very large extended family and community from ever buying LG or even think of buying anything LG. Loads of Garbage. We will never be able to recommend LG to anyone anymore. We couldn’t even find an LG Page on Facebook to reach out to them. They’re deliberately disallowing comments. Good-bye.
