AppealDeskAppealDesk builds evidence-based property tax appeal packets for homeowners for a flat $49. Enter your address, and we pull your county's assessment, recent comparable sales, and independent value estimates, then tell you honestly whether an appeal is worth filing. If your home looks fairly assessed, we say so and refund the $49. If it looks overassessed, you get a comparable-sales evidence packet, a cover letter addressed to your county board, and a step-by-step filing guide for your state. You file it yourself and keep 100 percent of any savings. No contingency fees, no agents. Questions go to [email protected] and are answered by the founder. What you get: a full packet has four documents. The Filing Guide for your county and state (where to file, the deadline, and how the local board works), the Evidence Packet (your property details next to recent comparable sales with price per square foot), a Cover Letter addressed to your county board or appraisal district, and a Savings Guide covering exemptions and other programs you may qualify for. An optional Hearing Prep Guide is available for $19 if your appeal goes to a hearing. Packets are built from county records and recorded sales data and delivered by email, usually within minutes of ordering.Where we work: AppealDesk covers homeowners nationwide, with filing guides written for each state's process, whether your state calls it an appeal, a protest, or a grievance. If the data available for your property is not good enough to make an honest case, we tell you that and refund the fee.Who we are: AppealDesk is a small independent company, not a law firm or a tax agent. We do not file on your behalf and we do not take a percentage of your savings. Our job is to put the evidence in your hands, in the format your county expects, so you can file with confidence.

Travis and the team are amazing. They're highly responsive, thorough in their analysis, and honest in their assessments. Highly recommend them to appeal your homeowners' taxes. A much better option versus high-priced attorneys who can't provide the personalized service like Travis, a true professional who knows the ins and outs of the business.

My assessment increased from $422,700 last year to $517,800 this year (to go into effect for the 2027 tax season). I submitted your company’s documentation along with the tailored cover letter. I also asked for the appraiser’s documentation. About 10 days is so later the county assessor called me and agreed my assessment was too high. We agreed on the median of the listed properties vs the lowest 25th percentile the rounded it down to an even $432,000. In other words the assessment was reduced by $85,800. Your documentation was excellent. The professionally prepared paperwork probably made the appraiser believe he had a real pro to deal with. Your company was great. Tim M in Greenwood, IN

They very quickly provided me a very complete and detailed analysis of our situation and how it relates to the specific conditions of the Philadelphia's tax calculations. They clearly and quickly answered all my questions. When we realised that we were unlikely to get a reduction to our taxes they offered us a refund of the fee that we had paid. Very honest business.

I was faced with an important dilemma regarding a final decision about my property, one that could have an impact on me for the rest of my life. At the suggestion of a colleague, I sent my documents to Travis Bunn to review the options offered to me by the County Property Appraiser. I received an immediate response to my emails. Travis went above and beyond by taking the time to investigate additional options that could potentially help resolve my issue. He is very knowledgeable, experienced, and professional. Travis is a wonderful person, and it has been an absolute pleasure working with him. I truly appreciate his time, effort, and willingness to help me navigate a very important decision. I highly recommend Travis Bunn to anyone who needs knowledgeable, professional, and caring assistance. Vlado R.

I live in rural New Mexico which is a non-disclosure state and pretty difficult to build a protest. So I love the idea of appeal desk getting the comparables in minutes versus me trying to find them at realtor offices. But a pill dust refunded my $49 because they couldn't find enough comparables to support my protest. But the silver lining is the assessor didn't have the comparables either. So the valuation increases I was experiencing from the assessor's office we're totally without foundation and simply arbitrary. So I emailed a pill dusk and told them I'd be willing to pay the $49 even for one or two comparables that were weak just to have something to present. But incredibly they would not take my money and they still gave me some wonderful input and data that I would never have found anywhere else. In this day and age where companies are just so money hungry and greedy I can't tell you how refreshing it is to find a company with honesty and integrity that bent over backwards to make sure I went into my protest fully equipped. My hearing was on August 21st so I still don't have a determination. But if it wasn't for appeal desk input it would have been a much harder mountain to climb on my own. My interactions with Travis was nothing short of incredible. My wife said that he is the salt of the earth in this day and age where greed and corruption are so prevalent, to find an individual that is truly concerned about their customers and their success in appealing their valuations with the property tax division, is truly remarkable. Travis treated me like he knew me all my life and didn't miss any opportunity to bend over backwards to make sure I had the input I needed for my protest. With a company like appeal desk and Travis watching my back when it comes to property taxation I feel totally confident to never back down from protesting my value in the future. Thank you so much appeal desk and Travis. Your service was truly outstanding and appreciated.

Dealing with Travis was a real pleasure considering his honesty being true to his word. Although he was not able to do anything for me considering my particular "batch" of problems. He was straight to the point looking at each of my questions in great detail. There fore he refunded my money without any hesitation. I would highly suggest utilizing his services relating to Property Tax questions and/or problems.

I wanted to reach out to Travis at AppealDesk and express my sincere gratitude for your invaluable assistance in preparing my property tax appeal. As it turns out, the appeal is no longer necessary, as the tax exemption I received completely eliminated my property tax burden for the year. However, I am incredibly grateful for the time, effort, and expertise you dedicated to helping me prepare. Your thoroughness gave me immense peace of mind during a stressful process, and I will gladly recommend your services to anyone needing assistance with their property taxes. Thank you again for your outstanding professionalism and support. - CG.
