I am so sorry you were not pleased with the lot you bought. I would have hoped, after 12 years of doing business together, and tens of thousands of dollars spent with us, that you would have notified me that you were not happy with the lot. We would have gladly taken the lot back for a full refund or made an adjustment on the price to satisfy your displeasure. I'm sorry you did not give us that chance.

I am sorry you were not happy with the lot. I went back and read the description and, with a lot of this sort, it would be quite difficult to describe it any differently than we did. The lot had thousands of covers and it was described as "our largest carton filled to the max with covers". There was nothing of any specific high value (hence the price of $285) and the 10 photos accompanying the lot clearly showed there were "ungrouped" covers everywhere. As far as a larger discount the next day, I have not checked for this specific lot but not all lots go into each discounted sale....it depends on how long the lot has been in inventory. Had you checked with me I would have been able to tell if the lot you bought would have qualified for the larger discount. By not contacting us with your dissatisfaction, there is no way to know you were unhappy and no way to fix it. So sorry.

Yes, without a doubt, the duplication should have been mentioned. I am so sorry. In the future, please reach out to us if you are not pleased with your purchase. We are here to make your collecting enjoyable!

Thanks for posting your comments and we are glad you have always been pleased with our lots. Let me explain....the lot you purchased - stock #417973, a United States collection - was new to our inventory. We do not generally keep new inventory (added within the last 30 days or so) in our higher discount sales. The lot was added on November 8th and you bought the lot that same day. So, even though we had a 70% off sale shortly thereafter, the lot you bought would not have been included in that particular sale. I hope this clears up your frustration. Please feel free to reach out to us directly with any other concerns you may have.
