The knowledge and skills of the entire team are remarkable. Any person with an open mind will benefit from the retreat in the best way possible. You will face a week of intensity, creativity and you will be turned upside down. In a very positive way. Being around these people is a joy : a blessing. Thank you.

…Freedom to Write
Andrea helped me break what had been a few months of writer’s block. It freed me up in all writing idioms, and now I’m finishing my children’s book and the songs are just a flowing again!

Andrea's sessions were great
Andrea's sessions were great, full of very useful and actionable suggestions to help keep in the songwriting flow. We also had a great group of songwriters at our retreat so I really enjoyed both the co-writing sessions and the playback of everyone's songs.

Chris, it was such a pleasure getting to know your process and learning from your perspectives about music and composition and production. As I said at the retreat, you are through and through an artist. I look forward to hearing more with your vocals on them in the future.

Transformative
The connections made with other songwriters is invaluable. As were the morning sessions with Andrea. A truly transformative experience. Thank you!

Wendy, you were so easy to put in a collaborative group, from your personality to your skillset. I thank you for being so open with your ideas and inspiring others to just 'write'. Thanks again for your presence, and I hope you continue to write with the retreaters you formed connections with.

Ticked Every Box
Ticked Every Box I could not have asked for a better experience. The retreat struck just the right balance between practical discussions around the mechanics of songwriting/lyric writing, and offering the opportunity to put those ideas into practice in the afternoon co-writings sessions. I also loved the fact that there was ample opportunity to pick up instruments and play, and share both songs and the joy of playing music, with other musicians. Andrea herself was present and engaged and encouraging and Madison’s assistance was invaluable throughout the entire week. Lastly, meeting the beautiful, supportive people in my group was the icing on the cake. Feel so lucky to have had this experience.

Paul, it was a genuine pleasure getting to know you, your songs, and your unique perspective on process and writing. I just enjoyed your presence in the group, the collaborative songs you wrote throughout the week, and conversations over dinner. Thank you for coming, and I look forward to hearing about any co-writes you continue to facilitate with our shared retreaters.

This is a life-changing workshop
This is a life-changing workshop, filled with great hands-on pragmatic songwriting tools to get the creative juices flowing. Andrea offers concrete examples of tools and tips from established songwriters. You will find collaborators and a community of friends here, all passionate about songwriting. I am already thinking about the next retreat!

Fay, what a pleasure it was to hear your heartfelt songs. I'm excited for your future, involving much more music in your day-to-day, and a new compass pointed toward songwriting. Never stop those beautiful story-oriented lyrics!

Exceeded All My Expectations
Andrea was totally professional. She perceptively matched participants in songwriting groups, as to their strengths (and I think, even their personalities). Her one to one workshop sessions and her group workshop session using the song of one of the participants, were particularly effective.

Stephen, thank you so much for your words. I am so glad that your cowrites were enjoyable, and I do hope you continue to find our community a place for fostering old musical relationships and building new ones. If ever you find your side of the fence quiet, just reach out and ask for what you need whether it be groups to continue cowriting with, listening to music with, or other within the music industry.
