I am thrilled to have taken part in this Songwriter's Retreat. I learned so much about the craft of songwriting, co-writing, and my place in the community. The workshops were interesting and helpful, my fellow writers were amazingly talented and loving. The co-writing sessions were exactly what I needed. learning to work with others creatively is a lifetime project. I'll be doing lots more co-writing in the future.

Incredible retreat! I have such a feeling of clarity and inspiration inside of me. Wrote a full song on the airplane on the way back. Wonderful co-writes and fantastic people of every variety. So much love, cooperation, & encouragement from everyone. Amazing to see Andrea construct and deconstruct a song from scratch. A cherished week of my life that has already opened up so many possibilities of how to creatively move forward with easily accessible tricks and ideas to think with.

Andrea's retreat was a breath of fresh air! She is amazing and has such a simple way of conveying great songwriting ideas that makes it so easy to grasp and connect. The time she provided to actually co-write was so worth the retreat itself. So looking forward to the next one I can attend!

Andrea Stolpe is full of empathy and thoughtfulness. This type of generosity is rare in a person, let alone a teacher. The presence, consideration and intention that she brings to each interaction allows the most useful and rewarding bits of one's self to shine through in their work. I attended her workshop/retreat in the Catskills and it was life changing. I acquired specific tools to help me deal with aspects of my songwriting where I feel I'm lacking, and structural markers that will help me frame my ideas more clearly as I progress. Connecting with a community of fellow songwriters who are sharing the journey was healing and inspiring. You'll get better at what you do, you'll make lifelong friends, you'll actually create great things, and you'll have a ton of fun. Can't recommend enough!

The Andrea Stolpe Songwriting retreat was nothing short of a life changing experience. Andrea and the staff were kind, generous and just generally wonderful. It was exceptionally liberating being able to create and learn in such an open environment free of criticism and full of the most absolute support imaginable. All level of songwriters would benefit from attending this thoughtfully constructed event.

Andrea is one of those gifted artists and educators who knows how to facilitate creativity and foster connection. She leads with curiosity and empathy and models for her students the true meaning of collaboration. To learn from her is to learn from the best. Grateful to have her as a mentor and friend.

The retreat was wonderful! Andrea presented great information and got involved beyond the classroom. The attendees are unforgettable and have added to my life in a beautiful way. The collaborations helped make me a better writer and person. The environment was breathtaking and the food was well prepared and tasty:-) I recommend Andrea’s retreats, workshops, etc for anyone who is serious about taking their songwriting skills to the next level.
