It was a great opportunity to learn and practice song writing skills and to network with like minded people. Well catered and very comfortable settings.

Great atmosphere, lovely environment to cowrite and build community!

At the retreat we were able to learn new ways to think about lyric writing during the lectures and then put those lessons into practice by working in groups. In the evenings we could socialize with people that have very different backgrounds but have the same passion for songwriting. The food and secluded location also added to the experience. The only thing I would of wanted more of would have been to discuss what to do with a song after it is written. Most of us were Indy artists and writers and will never get signed by a company to write music. We need to learn more about the importance of MegaData, ISRC codes, IPI/CAE numbers and distribution.

I attended a songwriters' retreat and it was nothing short of incredible. So much solid, pragmatic methodology punctuated by experiential wisdom and context. The balance between pedagogy and hands-on learning, and the facilitated interactions with other songwriters suggests I'll both remember (or at least have great materials to refer back to) and put into practice the things I learned.

Andrea's teaching was truly inspirational. Lumia's business section was excellent. Madison's organisation was great. The accommodation and food were quite good. The cowriting sessions didn't work for me personally since the groupings seemed to be based on age rather than musical styles and skillsets but I know some people really enjoyed them.

Just came back from the Nashville retreat and what an incredible week it was! To be in an environment with like minded individuals and to learn from Andrea has been very helpful to my own writing and development.

I wish the food was a little bit better! Other than that was really amazing
