I will never forget my trip to the Galapagos Islands and Machu Picchu. This was a Bucket list trip and it was planned perfectly. Damon and his team are fantastic and the trip was seamless every guide every hotel. Every meal were five star. I highly recommend Andean discovery

Had an awesome trip with Andean Discovery in Peru. Sebastian was a great guide! He got us to all the attractions early and beat the crowds. The hotels were all excellent, especially Tambo del Inka. We will use Andean Discovery again when we go to the Galapagos in a few years.

Andean Discovery was amazing throughout every step of our travels! They were very responsive and helpful in the planning process, and the travels themselves were smooth and seamless. The guides were amazing and so knowledgeable, and the itinerary (the Galapagos, the Amazon, and Machu Picchu) was busy but fit in everything that we wanted to do. We absolutely would travel with Andean Discovery again, and have already recommended them to friends and family!

Excellent accommodations, guide was knowledgable, organized and it felt like we made a new friend. The whole experience was stress free because we knew we had someone to help us if anything came up. Highly recommend!!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Andean Travel, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From beginning to end, the trip was exceptionally well organized, thoughtful, and personal. From our very first conversation with Damon, the owner, it was clear that this would not be a cookie-cutter tour. He took the time to learn about our family, our interests, and what we hoped to experience, and then helped tailor the trip around us. We were traveling with five children ages 6 through 12 and six adults ages 40 through 74, so creating an itinerary that genuinely appealed to everyone was no small feat. They managed all of the logistics beautifully, but what impressed us most was the extraordinary level of care they showed our family when circumstances became difficult. Alejandro, in particular, is a saint. When a member of our group unexpectedly had to be hospitalized, Alejandro stayed with him the entire time. He made sure Josh was not alone, helped navigate everything that needed to be handled, translated for us, and gave the rest of our family enormous peace of mind. That went far beyond what anyone could reasonably expect from a tour company. It was genuine kindness and compassion, and we will never forget it. Meanwhile, Damon was working behind the scenes to help us through the situation, including arranging a medical flight for Josh. Knowing that Damon and Alejandro were handling things allowed the rest of the family to continue the trip while Josh received the care he needed. It is difficult to overstate how much that meant to us. We also greatly appreciated Andean Travel's flexibility throughout the trip. One example was our visit to Las Grietas. When we realized that we really wanted to see it, they adjusted our plans to make it happen rather than rigidly adhering to a predetermined itinerary. That willingness to adapt was characteristic of the entire trip and made the experience feel genuinely customized to our family. There were so many highlights. We loved experiencing the extraordinary variety of Ecuador's landscapes, from the Andes to the Galápagos, and especially exploring the different volcanic formations, including lava caves and Las Grietas. In the Andes, we watched hummingbirds and visited a chocolate farm in Mindo. In the Galápagos, it seemed as though we saw every animal we had hoped to see—Galápagos penguins, blue-footed boobies, marine iguanas, giant tortoises, Darwin's finches, and an incredible variety of other birds and wildlife. Some of our favorite moments were also the completely unexpected ones. On one hike around a volcano, our path was suddenly blocked by a herd of cows—including a bull and a mother with her calf. We were actually more worried about the mother with her calf than the bull. It certainly wasn't on the itinerary, but it became one of those funny, memorable experiences that our family will be talking about for years. Traveling through Ecuador and the Galápagos with a large, multigenerational family involves a lot of moving parts, and Andean Travel handled them remarkably well. We always felt that someone was looking out for us—whether it was Daniel in Quito, Alejandro in the islands, or Damon working behind the scenes—and that they were willing to adapt whenever necessary. The combination of excellent organization, flexibility, local knowledge, personalized planning, and—most importantly—genuine personal care made this an exceptional experience. We would absolutely travel with Andean Travel again and recommend them without hesitation. We are especially grateful to Alejandro for the extraordinary kindness he showed our family when we needed it most, and to Damon for making sure that both before and during the trip, we were truly taken care of.

Working with Andean was a positive experience from beginning to end. The itinerary worked out very well. Our guides were all knowledgeable, friendly, and nice to spend time with. We would recommend and use Andean for future travel.

Indeed a great experience, a wonderful one especially , the Machu Picchu, Cusco, aguas calientes, sacred valley mountain, the socializing and interaction with the the Inca family, our stay at the Amazon forest is an experience worth reliving. Kudos to the people who acted as guide in our adventure like Mike who greeted us in our arrival and departure in Lima and tour guide for the food tour also Lima, those people who took care of us in the Amazon but last but not least is our heartfelt gratitude and thanks to Vannia and Alfredo our driver. Vannia is exceptional tour guide, there is word to describe how good in her field, she is and very helpful in every step. Pls send our regards to her and Alfredo.
