What I need :)
I am absolutely happy with my anabei sofa, but if you are considering making the purchase i think you need to understand a couple of things. Its not your traditional sofa, this is meant to be a more practical sofa - it ships in boxes, literally arrived via fedex. You can easily bring it into your house or apt. Yes, you do have to assemble it. It tells you on the website that this is the case, but basically you have to assemble each module. Does it take some time? Yes it can but after you put in the work on the first seat, the rest should be more simple. Rinse and repeat, its the same steps for all of the modules. Its easier to assemble than IKEA furniture - have you ever built one of their dressers? Next, comfort. I got the deluxe - tbh i got this one because its the cheaper of the two but I do find it comfortable. I sink in some but not completely. The back pillow feels more firm than maybe other sofas do, but I just add a throw pillow when I want a change. But the ultimate game changer for me is the WASHABLE COVERS!!! I have a toddler, he snacks on the sofa constantly, and whenever I feel like I need a deep clean, I simply take off the covers and throw them in my washing machine. It takes two cycles to wash all the covers of my sofa - i have 5 seats overall. I could try to squeeze them into 1 cycle but its just easier for me to do two. I let them air dry and next thing you know, its a clean couch. I was never able to do that with my previous couch and its such an advantage. I've had my couch for 4 months now and have already washed the covers 3 times. Also, fyi, you dont need to wash all of the covers at once. If you only need to wash the covers from one module, that's an option too. The flexibility here is key. I think what people need to understand is yes, its different but what is more important to you? Being able to wash mine is the most important.
