The petrol level in the vehicle was described as 'five-eigths' full (5 lights on when collecting the car) but the guage dropped to four lights within a few hundred metres of leaving Faro Airport. When returning the vehicle five lights were showing but the guage dropped again to four lights when the car was being 'checked' by a member of staff. I was then charged over 15 Euros for 'one-eighth' of fuel. Another family party with us used Master Kings (via Zest) to rent a car and they had to return the vehicle with a full fuel tank. The fuel tank in the car they rented was not quite full upon return but the main driver returned the key to the kiosk and was told that was all that was required. No vehicle checks were made. The second party then had to wait over 10 mins whilst our car was 'checked over'. It also took numerous attempts to process the extortionate 15 Euro 'payment' for 'one-eighth' of petrol. I will be using Master Kings for any future car rental at Faro Airport (via Zest car rental) and would suggest not using this company. The rear boot parcel shelf was also hanging off upon collection and the car stuttered/ juddered when being driven at speed.

Excellent service, person and car at airport CP4 on arrival, handover was seamless. We arrived back to airport early and someone was there in 5 minutes to hand back the car. Car drove like a dream and just a fabulous service that allowed cross boarder from Portugal to Spain without charge. 5star

Really helpful, especially as a warning light came up on the car and they immediately sorted it out with a replacement and were very friendly and reassuring.

We hired a car through Zest who in turn appointed Amoita as the car rental provider in Portugal. Our experience with Amoita was first class, they delivered the car to our hotel and collected it from the same location at the end of the hire. Communication was excellent throughout, the online check in was very easy to use, although not that easy to add an additional driver. However, the staff member did that for us on check in. The car was clean, although had several scratches and small dents. Photographs were provided with the contract showing all damage on delivery which formed an agreed condition at the start of the rental period. There were no issues on handling the car back at the end. We purchased additional insurance through Zest for glass, tyres etc. and the provider accepted this without pushing their own insurance. The Amoita staff we dealt with were very polite, friendly and professional throughout. The service we received was excellent and we’d have no hesitation in using Amoita again.

We picked the car up at Faro airport, we had a call as we landed with instructions where to meet. Picking the keys up and getting away was so easy. We needed a large car due to the vast amounts of luggage my partner brings, we got a Skoda estate which was perfect. It was in pretty good condition and did what we needed. It was even better in the return. We drove into P1 parking, unloaded the cases and we were met instantly with a lovely lady who sat in the front to check the return fuel, signed the form and said thank you have a great flight. Such an easy simple experience. Definitely will be using these again.
