For me there was a small learning curve to know how the phone worked, but once I mastered it, the phone did everything that was promised, was easy to operate, and had a great battery life. Fortunately it was not needed for any emergencies, but it was very helpful to keep in touch with fellow travelers and loved ones at home.

I went to Israel for 2 weeks and rented a phone from Amigo. Everything went smoothly with my phone rental, so I would use the service again.

Amigo U.S. had the best rates for Israel. We chose unlimited daily calling to the U.S. and within Israel and loved it. They were fair about return shipping. Mine was delayed by July 4 holiday then it looked like my package took a week to arrive but I was not penalized. Very fair.
