The project started in March with a consultant, Patrick Anderson. The service is dreadful, the communication sucks, the results are non-existent - 6 months later. I paid over $ 4000 and have not seen any results. My book was listed at an incredible $ 70 at Amazon, now $ 27, against my expressed instructions to lower it to $ 16.-. No print copies, no Google optimization, no Barnes & Noble registry, no editing, no revamping my website, no providing a new website (though guaranteed in contract). Patrick demanded extra pay for website, extra pay for 25 printed copies etc. The worst communication, my inquiries remain unanswered. On Monday, August 01, 2022 I will file suit at the St. Peters, MO, court. Klaus Engelbrecht

Thought I'd write a follow up review regarding the editing that was never completed on my manuscript and the several emails assuring me that I'd get my money back. I didn't. On another note, I used Reedsy to find an editor and spent the same amount of money I gave to AWG for nothing. The editing was outstanding. I recommend checking alternate editing services so you can avoid the experience I had.

Ally Smith is an amazing designer to work with. She is very flexible, patient and I truly recommend her. Jason has connected me to her and it has been an amazing experience so far. They both are commendable !

I hired them to design my character for a book cover. They took an image offline which was a picture of a model from his website when I reverse image searched it because I wasn't comfortable with it. They kept putting me off saying they will design one though that's what they were supposed to do from the beginning. It's now been 2 months and still being blown off. Like Carrie above said, they tried to say they were refunding my money in 14 days and to change my review. I said no because they never did anyway, the credit card charge was disputed and ruled in my favor.

Totally a fraud.

My experience with the American Writers Group was extraordinary. They did an excellent line edit, made suggestions. and finally presented a publish-ready file. Professional and pleasant at all times. Excellent.

Thanks so much for translating my work. I’ve been getting positive reviews in my Spanish upload of the book so I’m happy, and quite thankful to American writers group.

I was looking to get my manuscript edited and came across American Writers Group. The team here is very friendly and understands your requirements. The price they charge is very competitive compared to the service they provide. Highly recommended for their timely delivery
