This company ripped me off 2000 or more an had not done anything of what they say I’m call better Business Bureau I’m getting my lawyer I paid you guys I’m now I’m paying my lawyer and they will be contacting you guys. I’m sending a letter. I have all the messages emails and text messages from your company. American Web design. I need my money back or my Web design put up as soon as possible. If not, I’ll be in touch and surprise surprise you guys are in for a rude awakening and I even have a recording of me talking to the owner at this point. I’m gonna need my money back or some kind of reimbursement of some kind or some sort or at this point never mind I don’t need anything. My lawyer will be contacting you guys. I’m gonna need my money back. Thank you . Oh yeah don’t be fooled by the good reviews. Those are the web designer, family members.

SCAM ALERT This company scams you out of services that you don't need or they are unwilling or unable to provide. It is very difficult to get a hold of the account manager assigned after you get thru the sales process. Please be aware that you will be charged for products and services that you don't need.

they are nothing but a bunch of liars and rip off artist especially that guy jacob he shows me a dummy website with spanish words on it and insists that is ok because its only a dummy website then he trys to sell me a domain name and he gives me choices 1,2,3 years and a life time domain for 500.00 and i pick the 2 years for 275.00 and he tells me the better deal is for the 500 and that if i cancel it he will buy it back for 1000 then he tried to talk me into paying for an llc for 1500.00 someething i could get for 100.00 so they got me for 1350.00 and i did a charge back,but only got back 500.00 because the credit card co only goes back a month now. dont wast your money on these scammers' I put a bad review on the bbb along with there other bad ones and they some how took them all off

I originally gave americanwebdesignersinc a 5 star review however my website got hacked and they charged me $300 to fix it and I immediately paid as I need the website. 2 months later they didn’t fix it and now and then I get a response it will be fixed in 2 days. They usually don’t bother to respond to my texts or emails. We needed this website fixed 2 weeks ago which is 6 weeks after I paid and still nothing. Do they seriously not know how to fix a website that they built. I don’t like to give bad reviews but this is NOT a company you should use to build a website.

They get one star because it's not possible to give negative. Be WARNED. These people will take your money, hijack your site, create problems and then charge you to fix them.

I would run as far away and as fast as possible from this company. Paid them 5500.00, and no functioning website. Then they wanted to charge me an additional 2000.00 for a free plug-in to comply with cookie awareness. Never reply to any emails or phone conversations.

Good looking site, failed to honor maintenance, agreement, tried to upsell consistently, ignores our inquiries, sold us a product then tells us the site isn't secure and tries to upsell us another $2000. Hire them at your own risk. **** Update - they still have not reached out to us even after sending them the agreement they signed indicating the website security was included. Oh and they still haven’t updated our events page from a previous event from over a month ago.

I had to dispute a charge of $600 for using this company's services. They were supposed to refund me $600.00 and even wrote me a letter stating they would refund me, but they never did. I had to dispute the charge with my bank and finally got my money back. They lied to the bank stating I had no problems with them. This company needs to be removed from the internet. They are a bunch of liars. Don't use them, you'll be sorry. They will tell you that you will not be able to get your money back. They don't have any written agreements and their employees don't keep the appointments they make.
