Bad company Do not pay them they are a scam never complete the task after they've been paid

To American Web Designers Inc., I’m concerned because my website and social media advertisements are not being worked on as agreed. I’m posting here because I haven’t been able to reach Jacob or Ethan, who are in charge of my project, via email or phone. I urgently need assistance to find a solution. They stole my money and never called me back. BEWARE!!!!

DISRESPECTFUL AND GREEDY COMPANY Do not fall in to this Company!! Last year, December 2023, I sign contract with Australian Web Designer company which is still under the same umbrella with American Web Designer to design my business website. At the start Joe and Jerry from Australian Web Designers are very promising and convincing and I agreed to paid them $2950 for my business website. However after 6 months , my website was very disappointing and went downhills, I asked them multiple times how I want them to remove the Fake Testimonials (this is against the law, they should know better) and my personal address (safety reasons), but they totally ignored me. More than 3 times My website was not live and in many cases the business emails also cant be accessed and this cause many communication issues with my clients and other companies. Many other problems with my website that they haven’t fix it. When I tried to called/text Jerry/Joe, they often don’t pick up my calls and ignore me knowing they are in trouble. It was such an ugly battle with them. There’s many moment they replied my messages with rude and arrogant messages and tried to twist and manipulate the conversation!!!!!!!!! I am now fighting for my money back/Refund, I have reported them to the Consumer Affairs Victoria and will take legal action against them through VCAT. What a rip off this company!!!!! They will just rob your money for their own benefit. Don’t waste your money to this company!!!!!!!

This company is a terrible. They deceive you during the sales process, making numerous promises they don't keep. They are incredibly lazy, copying websites from similar businesses I sent them, even including those businesses' names. They promised the website would be ready in a week, but it took eight weeks. When it was finally completed, it looked terrible and was full of errors. The site crashes every month, and there's no support. They claim all their employees are based in America and provide a LA address but they are based in india

As of Thursday (6/13) my website has been down. I've contacted Axel Wright and American Web Designers numerous times and still have not gotten ANY response. It's Monday (6/17) and still nothing. I need my website as people have been calling and emailing to try to order products. In the beginning, I had some issues with Axel not fulfilling the timeline he provided, then when I finally got a mock up, it was so generic and nothing like I had asked. After months of waiting I had asked to get my money back since it was taking so long. (The whole reason why I went ahead with a web developer was because I didn't have the time to do it myself because I was helping my daughter with her sex assault case.) Axel even threatened me by saying that he has all the power to do with he wants with my website, then when I called him on it, he quickly recanted. I would just like a response so that I can get my website up and running.

This company also works under the company name: Octa web Design. I learned this AFTER singing up with them because this company had bad reviews. I noticed that Axel Wright also promised another person something and did not deliver. This is my story: I spoked with several people from David, Eli, to Axel and so on. They all had Asian accents and never would show their face on camera. I asked their real names and they gladly told me they used Anglo names because it was easier for the customers. They listen to your idea and make you feel heard, at first. Once they lock you into an agreement, they never deliver the final project. I worked from February until May, where they changed project managers 3 times and none of those could deliver what I asked for. They each offered a new presentation trying to get me sign an agreement for $70,000. We agreed on a price to build a LMS. They kept missing the dates and I kept making my agreed upon payments (milestones). They kept promising me a date for delivery and that day would pass and they would come back with another excuse. They do not even seem like a real company. SURE they are an entity but they have not delivered anything to this date. They kept asking the same questions and I had already written the plan. They never even read what I wrote for a plan. They had an agenda to get me locked into a very expensive contract for nothing that I wanted. I asked for a refund and I got ghosted. They did not deliver what we agreed to in February and they do not seem to be able to refund my money. I really just wanted my website. I needed them to be honest about what they can do, even if they made a mistake.

American Web Design Inc should not be in business. They are liars. They are very aggressive when trying to win the business. They will call you and insist and promise you the stars. The reality is too far from being true. I spoke with four different people. One Senior manager phillip and three designers. I had to explain the whole project to each and every one of them. They did the mockup, which actually was a clone from another website. They did not follow my instructions at all. I gave them a reference website only as a guide, and they couldn't even follow that. Each designer was clueless of what was required, including the Senior project manager. I requested my reimbursement because clearly, they are not delivering what they promised. American Web Designers Inc/TECHNOFY INC claims they have experience designing real estate websites. They do not have an idea of how the mls/idx integration works. The second designer admitted he had not worked on a real estate website after the project manager Phill told me they had created over 1,000 websites. This company wants to take advantage of honest people like me. I demand my reimbursement.
