A Publisher Who Understands the Meaning of Service
After more than four decades in business, I've learned that the greatest measure of someone's character isn't what they promise, but what they're willing to give of themselves. Roger and the team at American Real Publishing have demonstrated exactly that. For nearly five months, Roger made time for me every Saturday morning. Away from the noise, distractions, and demands of the business week, those mornings gave us the opportunity to focus on something deeply personal: telling the story of my life. My book, Gutter to Go-Getter, is about much more than building businesses. It's about grit, grace, relationships, and the countless people who gave me something far more valuable than money: their time, their encouragement, and their belief in me. There's something particularly meaningful about the fact that Roger became one of those people while helping me tell that very story. He didn't have to give up his Saturday mornings. But he did, consistently, for months. And that commitment speaks volumes about the kind of person he is and the way he approaches his work. I've always believed that when you stop selling and start serving, trust becomes inevitable. Roger reminded me why I believe that. I'm grateful to Roger and the entire American Real Publishing team for their partnership, patience, and dedication to bringing my story to life. If you're considering writing a book, my advice is simple: Find someone who cares about the story as much as the transaction. In my experience, Roger and his team understand the difference.
