Scam!!! I placed a claim for my furnace took 8 days for a technician to come out here to fund out the lied to the furnance company and said they were the property manager cause Noone wants to deal with them now I keep getting a message a saying they are waiting for a diagnostics report well I paid the technician already and told I need to get reimbursed I do t see this happening

This is the worst insurance agency ever I highly, highly recommend you do not get this insurance. You will regret it. They take your money and when it is time to get something done you still have to pay for it. I never write bad reviews but this has to stop it is a scam.

Do not give this company a dime of your money. Bought this warranty with my new home in May 2026. Had an issue with my A/C system at end of September, called company and made a claim on Wednesday Sept 30, had to pay a $75 service fee in order for tech to come out. Two days later, tech shows up and says he has to order a part then leaves. The wekend goes by without a word from anyone. I call American Home Coverage people Monday and I am told they are waiting on a written diagnosis, which I could tell by the lady's stuttering she was lying. She says they will have answer the next morning. Next day comes and I get a text they are still waiting on written diagnosis, so at that point I go out and check system myself, using YouTube as my guide. Didn't take long to discover it was the start capacitor so I look up part and order for $20 on Amazon. Part arrives the next day and I repair, system, starts right up and we have air. Meanwhile no word from American Home Coverage, so I call, and guess what, they are still waiting on diagnosis from tech. We play more phone tag and finally on Monday October 12th, they call me and say good news, we found out it is a capacitor and we will cover parts at no cost to you, but you will be responsible for paying the 2 hour labor charge. It took me about 10 minutes to change part out, but they need me to pay 2 hour labor charge! Are you kidding me? Isn't that what the warranty is for? I EVEN PAID THE EXTRA FEE FOR "PLATINUM COVERAGE" SO MY A/C WOULD BE COVERED! The funny part about this is every time you call, you get message that due to high call demand, all representatives are busy, but every time the representative came on the line, it was the same old lady who spoke in broken English and had a shitty attitude. I knew I had been ripped off after the initial phone call, just didnt want to admit it happened to me. I assure you, if you pay for this warranty, you just as well have thrown money in the garbage. This company is a scam!! Do not use them! I took out a policy with American Home Coverage on December 24,2025 after a representative contacted me to solicit business for them. So I took out the platinum package and added several add-ons including pool and spa, septic system, water well, roof leakage and water softener. Had a problem with my pool pump on March 13 and filed a claim. I had great difficulty getting a technician out here because they said American Home Coverage reps were rude. Two techs hung up on them and the other refused to do business with American Home Coverage. This home warranty also took it upon themselves to be the parts provider and order the replacement pump. Fast forward 2 1/2 months and my pool still wasn’t fixed! It took over two weeks for the pump. Then it was sent to the wrong address in another state. When I finally got it here and the tech scheduled to install it, the tech calls me and says he can’t install the pump. It was used and missing parts! Totally unacceptable! I was furious! I called American Home Coverage and they promised to take care of it if I would not cancel and give them another chance. Well, my water well pump went out a week and a half ago in the middle of 105 degree temps and a drought. I have no water to my house. I still don’t. I was informed by American Home Coverage that they were not going to cover it! Then I don’t need them! Their customer service sucks! I have requested numerous times to speak to a supervisor, manager and they have refused to do so. I have requested someone to call me back to cancel and I am still waiting despite making 3 phone calls since Friday to do so. Save yourself a lot of trouble, heart problems and headaches and go with another company. American Home Coverage is a scam!

If I could I would give them a big "0" !!!!! My AC went down a week agou and they are dragging their feet for doing nothing and outside is 115F. I read the bad reviews about them and they have a pattern for "fixing" the isuses . This is a fraud company!!! They did this to me in the same way like with everyone one else. I filed complaint to DIFI, Consumer Information & Complaints Unit of the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, and BBS. I have insurance for 3years ,paid already. I will CANCEL it. If they give me hard time , I will contact my bank. Thank god I paid with the credit card , card that a pay anualy for protecting me from these scamers!!!!!

This company is a total fraud. They should not be allowed to operate in Nevada. I have two homes in Henderson insured under company’s best plan for a second year now.renewed because Alex made a sales pitch that we are a local company. We will be at your house within an hour. If you have any problem call me directly etc I did not use them first time. First time that I needed something under home coverage was not only denied after charging $65 as claim filing fee. on 26th April my hot water bursted . I immediately called them and send photos etc. they assigned a claim #726191. A technician ( contractor) came in 2 days - who took pictures and told me he can get the hut water heater installed in 2 days - all I need is insurance approval . I kept getting text messages from the co Pant that the claim is under review and discussion. I tried calling Alex ( my rep) and Paul Manager/CEO. For all this while week they said they will call me back no one did. I spoke with Ray, James and Kay. My claim was under review by them for 7-10 days. Today Kay called me that the water heater is not covered. So if it was not covered why they charged $65 , why they assigned a claim # and what were they reviewing for all this time . If water heater is not covered why could they not tell me when I first called about ten days ago. I am going to report to BBB ( but they are not a member), now I am going to try to shut down their business as a fraud through Governor’s office. Dr Raj

Do not even try to get a quote from them. They will spam call and message EVERY day with 100s of different numbers. Have been dealing with spam messages for almost a year no matter what I unsubscribe, say remove me, use national block lists.

Not all home coverage are true. I was told that American Home Coverage covers everything on the Platinum side no matter how old they are. I.switched from American Home Shield to this.company because of a salesman promising me this. Well now this company is telling me that they can't help me because my unit is twenty years.old and they are unable to get the parts. I am 65 years old, disabled, and poor this is why I purchased a home warranty plan. It is going to be 24 degrees on Saturday and low 14. Now I have to worry about being cold, possibly getting sick, and pipes freezing. I live in a house that is 110 years old and this company says they can't cover a unit because it is 20 years old. I am just warning others beware of home warranty salesman who tell u that they cover anything no matter how old it is, they may be lying to u. What an old fool i.am to be so trustworthy. I should have definitely stayed with American Home Shield. Beware people of this company when they tell u that all is covered by American Home Coverage especially if u are a senior struggling to survive. This has been a very emotional situation for.me. I was told by the claims department that a representative would call me back. I have waited for four days.for someone to call back. If i.didnt call them today, who knows when someone would have called me back. If ever for that matter. Just beware of salesman.of companies telling u one thing, and they do another.
