Staff is competent and super friendly. The periodic get togethers build a spirit of camaraderie among the clients.

We have been with AEC for 6 years and have always been treated with the utmost professionalism. We began as a regular one office tenant and now, due to downsizing, utilize the answering and mail facilities of AEC. The staff has always been very courteous and helpful and goes out of their way to get things done for us. I would definitely recommend AEC to prospective tenants.

The American Executive Center's Plymouth Meeting facility is very well located, providing convenient access to interstate highways, and main routes to Philadelphia - which is ideal for attending offsite meetings. If you are hosting meetings, you can book a variety of well-serviced conference rooms. The office building itself provides serviced individual offices, home to a variety of different businesses. These individual offices are serviced with the following: Business support function: the really helpful team caters to all your needs - including a variety of phone answering services (office and after hours, call forwarding, voicemails forwarded by email etc.); all printing and scanning should you need it; all mailing and shipping needs etc. They will even provide candidate search and screening services, if you are hiring. All offices are provided with both LAN and wifi access, and are cleaned each evening. The offices share a canteen on each floor - coffee always ready (thank you guys!), fridges, microwaves etc. The atmosphere in the building is really good, and all the staff is always very friendly and competent.

My business has grown over the last year. I’m still using 6 out of the 7 locations of AEC while being based out of the Radnor location. The model is perfect for my divorce mediation business. The experience hasn’t gone without problems, however. While using the locations is perfect, using services in the locations is a hazard. It’s nice that there are staff members in place to welcome my clients and show them to the proper meeting room. The business model for providing services is such that the staff offer services that they eventually charge for. I don’t like the surprise of seeing additional charges on my monthly bill for things I didn’t request. This is hugely problematic for me. I met with the Radnor center manager recently, and I think we have a work around for this problem. She has agreed to check my invoice the day it comes out for charges that may not be valid. She has also asked the other managers to instruct their staff to be aware that we don’t want extra charges for services. I appreciate this extra step. It shows me that AEC wants its clients to be satisfied. We’ll continue to use them in the future as our business grows.

When looking for office space we decided on American Executive Centers – Bala Cynwyd due to its location and the quality service provided by the staff. Bala Cynwyd’s proximity to Center City Philadelphia and easy access to major highways allow us to provide better service to our clients. As a new company it is important for us to project an energetic and innovative image. We like American Executive Centers’ conference room and meeting room spaces. Furthermore American Executive Center recently upgraded the office furniture and is in the process of upgrading the reception and kitchen area. Our company is mostly self-sufficient; however, it is good to know that we can count on AEC’s support staff like the IT and Administration team. Another important consideration is AEC’s flexible lease terms which allow our company to expand or downsize operations. For these reasons we recommend American Executive Centers – Bala Cynwyd to Entrepreneurs who are looking for a convenient and cost effective location for their office.

9-17-13 It’s been a good year. Our business is progressing. We’ve had some interesting things happen with employees, but we’re on the right track now. We’ve whittled down to 2 of us, and that seems to be working well. We love having our space at AEC Radnor. We still would love to have an office with a window, but Radnor has been at 100% occupancy for months now. There haven’t been occasions for us to move to a window office that would suit us. The things that I complained about last year are things that I’ve gotten used to. They don’t bother me anymore. The only suggestion I would have now has to do with the small fees monthly that are charged for services. Some of them seem trivial. I went over my bill with Dana, and she explained their business model of services for a fee. In the long run, I’m happy to have the staff members represent my company. I understand the model, and it’s worth it to me to pay a bit extra each month. 8-2-12 My partners and I started our financial consulting business in the extra bedroom of my apartment about 2 years ago. That arrangement worked fine until it came time to start meeting prospective clients. We found out about AEC on Craig’s List. The things that were most important to us were a functional work space, a professional image, and a good location - all for a conservative investment amount. We have found that at AEC Radnor. The location is perfect for us. The building and suite are very professional. We use the meeting rooms, and they are great for our presentations. The best thing about AEC in Radnor is their staff. We use their help with our phone answering, meeting room coordination, presentation preparation, and printing of materials (including business cards). The back office support here is strong! They have had a definite positive effect on our growing business. All of the staff members are friendly and warm. In addition, they always do what they say they will. When we give them projects, they come through on time. When we have questions or problems, they are handled quickly and easily! Another feature that we have really enjoyed is the networking opportunities. We have attended many events with the AEC folks in deciding which groups to join. That was very helpful to us. Even better though, has been the opportunity to meet some other clients in the suite with whom we’ve developed business relationships! That has been very advantageous. There are several people here with whom we have synergies. It’s been a great perk! I do have 2 suggestions for improvement. I would prefer if AEC took credit cards as regular payment. That would be a much more convenient way for us to pay our rent here. In this day and age when nearly everyone takes credit cards, it seems ridiculous that AEC doesn’t. The other thing that I would love to see is a more modern vending machine. The one we have in our center is very outdated and quirky. One more point about having an office in this type of suite is that you can’t control your neighbors. We have a few people whose offices are on the same hallway with ours that are overly loud and somewhat obnoxious. Because of that, we tend to work with our door closed and generally avoid interacting with those other people. It’s not a huge deal for us, but it is a bit of a disadvantage. That’s why I gave a lower ranking for the “interacting with neighbors” category in this survey. For the future, we are looking forward to continuing our relationship with AEC. At some point, we would love to be able to upgrade our current office to one with a window. We have discussed this with Dana. Right now, there are no window offices available, but she has promised to keep us informed should something suitable become available. Our business is growing and we are excited for our future!!!
