Hi Quentin, We’re glad to hear you find the scanner solid and are sorry you’re experiencing some functionality issues. I recommend uninstalling the driver and software and then reinstalling from this page: http://www.ambir.com/athenahealth-setup/ If you’d like, our support team can walk you through this.
