AmazonflexReviews of amazonflex.com

Over the past 2 months I have worked for Amazon Flex in the Myrtle Beach area I have made a gross of 2450 but it cost me $800 in fuel and then new tires oil changes added up to another $1,000 so essentially after one hundred hours of work I made $6.54 an hour this is not sustainable beware this company is using you up and burning you out and killing your vehicle without proper compensation to help keep you going it is not worth driving for Amazon Flex not to mention all the mistakes the Flex App makes unfairly and unjustly and then it takes hours and hours to get things fixed please avoid this company it is not worth it

My experience with Amazon Flex was extremely disappointing. The platform promotes flexibility, but the reality is that the driver carries almost all the costs: gas, vehicle maintenance, wear and tear, depreciation, traffic, and the time spent dealing with difficult routes. The pay often does not reflect the real effort required to complete deliveries. After calculating fuel expenses and vehicle costs, the actual earnings can be far lower than what many people expect. On top of that, the rating and performance system can feel unfair because drivers may be penalized for situations outside of their control, such as incorrect addresses, customers not being available, app issues, or problems during the route. Drivers provide their own vehicles, pay for their own expenses, and put in the work to make deliveries happen, yet many times they do not feel properly supported by the company. Amazon should do a better job of recognizing the real costs and challenges faced by Flex drivers. I would not recommend Amazon Flex to anyone looking for a truly profitable and sustainable way to earn money. Do your calculations carefully before investing your time and putting unnecessary wear on your vehicle.

The app is horrendous. It loses internet connection randomly, multiple times, every block. GPS stops following along and does not progress or turn the screen. Even if you download offline maps. Trying to mark that you arrived at the station is a multi refresh the app event. The app sometimes will not even load past a blue screen despite using THIER station wifi or my cellular data. I have a brand new top of the line flagship smartphone on the largest provider as well. Driver support is basically just there to tell you that they can't help you but they can have someone you can't speak to email you back in as many as 6 days. Not what I want to hear when im trying to fix any issue. They will tell you not to worry, that they have documented that it was beyond your control, then you still get dinged on your standings and have to call back in to fix that again. Only to get email responses saying the trip was not earning eligible. What a joke. 2 different trips in the same day, 35mins each way (4 times), not able to check in through no fault of my own, denied compensation. You guys are out of your minds to think drivers are going to continue to show up when you repeatedly are costing them time and money with no payment. Fix your app, your check in machines, and your customer service processes. While you're at it, make sure you have enough parking available for the drivers you are scheduling and have some accountability when your technology messes up.

So much wrong with amazon flex . Low pay , high mileage. Will send you an hour away , rough terrain in boonies with little pay . But the worst part is they will falsely accuse you of not delivering packages and demoting you for this . They will lower your standing for any little complaint . If the package is damaged by amazon , they will blame you. If buyer lies and says they didn't get package for free merchandise, you get dinged . If you leave package at front door instead of back door because it was safer geuss what another ding. Customer service is absolutely no help and will dismiss your issues and speak off script . If package gets stolen , you get dinged . This last issue my standing was lowered for no known reason . Nothing on my record but management will not fix it . Oh customers are alerted to keep their dogs secured , probably about 50 percent do not , so you have to return package back to station . Even when you return a package , amazon will say you did not and you get dinged again . Unfair and fraudulent practices by amazon flex and driver support and management could care less . I have reported them 3 times for bad business practices and unfair treatment to FTC . Just be prepared these routes will run your car down fast !! New brakes , new spark plugs , high miles , new tires , dogs have scratched my car up , just a few things , so is it really worth it ? High miles for sure . Amazon flex needs to pay alot more and fix their customer service !!

When I go to start location, the account tells me to retry. I cannot log into the system. I am fed up and did not get paid for my time showing up to work my shifts. How do I get compensated for the times I have a shift and they do not give me those shifts even when I show up and the Application does not respond? It has several difficulties getting the app to work. I have lost time and money getting to the location and also not get paid.
