I had a deeply frustrating experience…
I had a deeply frustrating experience with A Matter of Fax. On July 30, 2025, I placed an order (MAT-10415) for an Epson SureColor F7200 Color Wide Printer, costing $6,004.80, after their sales team assured me the item was in stock and would be delivered within 8 days to my address. I received an order confirmation email, but no shipping updates followed despite my follow-up emails on July 31 and August 1, 2025, requesting a tracking number or delivery status. On August 1, 2025, their customer service (Josh) admitted via email that their distributor did not have the printer in stock, contradicting their initial claim. They offered a refund or alternative product but failed to provide proof of refund despite my request. As of August 2, 2025, I have not received the printer, a tracking number, or a refund, leaving me out $6,004.80. I’ve had to dispute the charge with my credit card company due to their failure to deliver. This experience was misleading and unprofessional. I caution others to verify stock and delivery promises before purchasing from A Matter of Fax. I hope they address this issue promptly. John K.

We share in Mr. Kim’s disappointment. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and frustration Mr. John K. experienced. Frankly we are also frustrated. While the item was initially confirmed as in stock, the unit apparently sold by the time we sent Mr.’ Kim’s order to the warehouse for fulfillment. Unfortunately, this was the last available unit of the Epson SureColor F7200 printer in our distribution network at that time. As is the custom for all orders placed, there was an Authorization only to hold the funds on the card pending shipment. We would like to clarify that we never captured any funds from Mr. Kim’s account. The payment remained in a pending authorization state, and the transaction was voided promptly upon cancellation. No funds were ever collected or settled on our end. Hence we cannot issue proof of a credit. There simply was no charge. We tried reaching Mr. Kim but he did not reply to the numerous follow up messages. We wish Mr. Kim well.
