So far (Update)
So far, I have had an initaial phone call (about 15 minutes). This went well. Following, the accelerator scheduled me for a 45 minute zoom meeting to further discuss. After waiting 40 minutes past the scheduled time, I received a text message asking me to reschedule. No courtesy… even after spam text messages reminding me of the scheduled meeting. Unprofessional and unorganized. No reason to trust a program to provide results--let alone pay $1000+ tuition, if they lack this simple professionalism. Update: The founder personally reached out to me about the preciously stated incident. I certainly appreciate and respect him reaching out. 1-> 3

Hi Ashton, thanks for writing this up! You’re completely right to expect basic professionalism around a scheduled call. We dropped the ball here. If you waited on a Zoom and only got a last-minute reschedule text, that’s frustrating, and it’s on us. For context, the vast majority of our consults start on time and are communicated clearly- this isn’t representative of how we normally run things. But that doesn’t change what happened in your case. I looked into it as soon as I saw your review, had a serious conversation with the enrollment officer involved, and we’ve already tightened the process so it doesn’t happen again. I’m also going to reach out to you by email to send over some bonus resources/materials that can help, free of charge, whether or not you ever decide to work with us. If you’re open to it, I’m happy to personally apologize and reconnect briefly. Either way, I appreciate you calling this out, and best of luck!! — Aman, Founder of SWE Accelerator
