I ordered a book from Alto for nursing school. I received the book on time and everything. The only issue I had was I was missing a few chapters and some of the pages were upside down. I have been trying for 4 weeks to get my partial refund, but no luck! I keep getting emails saying it’s been processed but I haven’t seen anything. This has forced me to get my bank involved. Im not happy with their service and how they handle things. Other than that the books are legit and cheap which is a benefit.

Shipping for the book took a few days longer than what I paid for. The packaging was not very good quality, but the book is the correct book and for what I paid for it it seems like a good deal. It would be better if it shipped in time and if tracking information was available. A tracking number was provided, however I was only given information when it was a day out and before that had no idea how long it would take or where the package was.

My book was supposed to arrive friday (I paid extra for shipping) but arrived the Wednesday after. I emailed customer service and got no response about the delay. The book is right and the price was good, but be prepared to wait a while.

Textbook description stated foreign printed cover was different but inside was exactly the same as domestic. Not true. Subject headings are numbered differently, which means I cannot follow along with instructor.

I received the book in ok condition. It was just wrapped in plastic so the edges were a bit munched on. Otherwise fine. Their shipping sucks; very anxiety producing. It took a whole 13 days for me to receive it, from the day I ordered it. So if you're pressed for time, this isn't your place. After being unable to track my package, I contacted them about it & they were nice. If you take into consideration the price that you're paying (average of $20?), the service is fair.
