ALT Always had a scammer problem, but it WAS a great site if you knew how to manage it and worth the Subs. I've met people on there over the years and there are real people there. Over the last three years its gone down the pan, features removed, slow, prone to crashes and weird messaging issues. Chat got so broken and bugged they have gone from hundreds on there to the same 10 people mostly because it doesn work. Some half baked attempt to turn messaging into a chat system is making it impossible to use and it's just dying on it's feet. Standard contacts DOESNT work and if you complaint o support you'll get fobbed off.

I woukd give no starts if I could. The "women" are about 98% scammers and ask for money within 5 minutes of talking. I think they are usually men trying to.act like women. Almost every picture is fake. Customer service is nonexistent. I paid for non-paying members to be ablt to co tact me but that never worked and it's been a real hassle trying to get them to simply extent the membership for one mo th due to the 19.95 not doing anything. I would love to get a class action lawsuit going and see if they could figure out how to keep the acammers out then..

I object to the claims that every woman is scamming. I'm a woman and have never done anything like that. However, Alt was always pretty bad but now that they have removed the chat rooms, without warning, it has 0 interest for me. I was a paying gold member but never again. Tata Alt o/

Been on the site since 2002 and now they want me to prove I'm 18 all the kink categories have been removed and replaced with PC woke terminology. Next thing you know holding hands will be a big kink alt.com is a pale shadow of itself it was always bad but now it's so terrible you can't even use it and now they can't figure out if you've been on the site 20 years you're over 18 years old they even had my billing record to prove it so anybody got any good suggestions on where to go now

Echoing other comments. There are way too many false profiles that either use photos from the web, claim to be looking for love (on a BDSM dating site?), or have no profile information whatsoever. Moreover, ALT is notorious for not replying to questions, problems, clarifications even though they proudly state that a customer service representative will reply soon. Or keeping its user base informed about bugs, system changes, etc.

I found that the web-site administrators were shadow banning my photos and videos which is why I was not getting any matches. I changed my search settings to see the photos of men to find out if any of mine were being shown and none were there to be seen. Instead I was looking at poor quality unprofessional photos of men with photos that clearly should not have be featured over my own and my videos did not even have a single view. I decided that since I was being treated so unfairly I should delete my profile.

Alt has gone downhill steadily for years, it's rock bottom. Nearly every female profile has turned out to be fake or someone seeking to Nickle and dime you to death. Of the 15 or so people I spoke to from alt all 15 were asking for money or something with in a day or two. They refuse to send verification photo's or share anything that could possibly confirm they are real. It's tedious at best now.

One of the worst if not the worst personal sites for people looking to meet like-minded people into the BDSM lifestyle. To many fake profiles, girls wanting you to subscribe to their Onlyfans page, etc etc. DO NOT even waste your time making a free profile!
