I've been involved in trading for many years and have tried different approaches along the way. I've now been part of the AlphaTrends community for about two years, and for the first time I feel like I've found an approach I truly believe I can build on for the long term. What I particularly value is the combination of multiple timeframe analysis, VWAP-based entries, and disciplined risk management. Brian and Andy don't teach unrealistic expectations or easy money. They teach a process that requires patience, consistency, discipline, and continuous learning. The longer I'm part of AlphaTrends, the more I appreciate the philosophy of trading in alignment with the bigger trend and patiently waiting for high-quality opportunities. It has given me a much clearer framework for how I want to approach trading. Trading is difficult and there are no guarantees. But after years of learning, experimenting, and questioning different approaches, I finally feel that I have a process worth committing to for the long term. For me, that's the biggest value AlphaTrends has provided.

Excellent experience. As a rookie trader, finally trying to learn about the stock market in my retirement years, I have found Alphatrends to be an outstanding place to learn about trading. Brian Shannon is a great teacher. His approach is intelligent and thoughtful. "Only Price Pays" is not just a slogan, it is psychological insight to market structure that is very helpful to new traders, such as myself. His emphasis on Risk Management First is enlightening as it shows you the path to entries and exits, which results in financial success. I can't say enough good things about the depth of the concepts that he presents in his programs. If you want to truly learn about stock trading, Alphatrends is the place.

Brian is the most honest person in this business that I met. There is no sugar coating anything or any emotional approach. He will give you an honest opinion. You are the only person that can change your own situation. And Brian will help you to be better trader, but you have to do the work. He will never give you fish, but he will teach you how to fish. With real trades that you have to decide for your self if they are good for you. He will guide you thru but you are the one pressing the button. If you are ready to take responsibility for your trading and your real growth then he is the best person out there. If you still want to play the blame game and live in a dream that never comes true then stay where you are.

I have been a member for about 5 years. It took me a few years to figure out my own trading style while learning and making money. Brian has been consistent and has great recommendations. He helps everyone to develop their own style as well as explain what he does and why. Give it a try! Just one trade will likely earn you enough for his very reasonably priced yearly service. I have been trading for over 20 years but always as a longer term investor. After researching how to trade on a shorter timeframe I came across Brian Shannon's books about the anchored volume weighted average price (AVWAP). This led me to his website and X where he offers a very reasonable subscription. After experiencing that I subscribed to his full service from the website and have learned so much. I now trade on any timeframe and continue to learn every day thanks to the service!

I have only been an Alphatrends subscriber for a few months, but in that short time, my trading performance has come up more than in the previous year of struggling to stay consistently profitable. I had previously subscribed to another popular Swing Trading service, and was only told to buy this or that stock, and sell here or there, but I never learned why some trades worked and others did not. (their performance was only a little better than the S&P!). Brian's approach is to drill the fundamental workings of VWAP and multi-timeframe trading, stressing risk management, and "making the trade your own" which forces me to look for low risk, high probability setups using his time tested strategies. Bottom line?...a great educational experience....I expect that down the road a bit, that I should be able to "cut-the-cord" and fly solo in the ever changing market environment. Thanks, Brian!
