Do your research before you buy
Not a great experience. I paid for the express delivery, the date came and went, no delivery, no communication from them or reply to my emails. Then I found the trust pilot reviews and thought I'd been scammed. Contacted my bank, they couldn't do a chargeback as the company uses Trustly which is an open banking system. At this point I realised there is a .com and a .co.uk website and I'd ordered from one but the order confirmation email came from the other (and even then it went to spam as the alpenlederhosen.com email was not the actual email it came from). Red flags a-plenty. The contact address on the .co.uk website is a derelict building. The contact addresses on the .com website show a different UK address, a US address and a Pakistan address. None of these exactly scream "traditional German tracht". I then found another website selling identical stock at identical prices that pretends to be a physical shop in London but when you look on Google streetview, the address is a Starbucks. I think it's the same company with a different front end. Contacted them again to say I thought it was a scam and that I'd contacted my bank. I received an automated email later that day saying the goods had been shipped, but the DPD tracking reference didn't work. Reported it to my bank who agreed it looked like an APP scam and agreed to progress it on my behalf. ... and then to my surprise the goods arrived the next day (yes, I let the bank know). So do I have the goods? Yes. But a week after the express delivery should have arrived. Are they amazing quality? They're ok. Not fabulous, but doesn't look like a cheap fancy dress costume either. The ribbons on the dress and apron are different colours. The sizing is good. The customer communications were non existent. But the stress involved in getting the item means I wouldn't shop here again.
