My husband received This for Christmas this year. Is a retired HVAC service technician and can use any tool but this was a tool that was defective. We decided to return it. It cost us almost $30 to send to Canada. We took pictures of the item.. There were no scratches. The company would not return it for refund it only for credit or they would send it back. It was my choice.. They attached three pictures where the display was scratched that we did not scratch using that as a reason why they would not return it when we never did that... I would stay away from this company avoid buying any item that they sell.. They do not back their products and their their customer service is terrible..big scam

I would never order from The Almighty Tools. The product arrived but broke with the first use. After numerous attempts, we cannot get a refund. It’s a terrible company.

I am only providing one star because I cannot give a zero. I ordered one for my father in law but it did not arrive by Christmas. It finally showed up in January but I already purchased a different one. Like others have mentioned it was not the tape measure that was advertised and did not function as expected. For those two reasons I decided to return it. I was told that I had to provide shipping to return it. I followed the instructions they provided and sent it to the address but they claim they never got it. Even though I have a picture from FedEx showing it at the delivery address. After that they just stopped responding to me. This company is criminal and a scam and I would not recommend anyone to order from them or interact with them at all. So now I am out the cost of the tape measure with no refund and the shipping back. I have contacted to the attorney general for my state with hopes that they will be investigated. Complete criminals..... Update.... They finally provided my refund only after opening a case with the attorney general and also provided the above review. I sadly believe I wouldn't have gotten my refund if I had not done those things. At least I got my money back.

The tape measure is cheap junk the laser point is so dim it can’t be seen more than 20 ft it is incredibly awkward to use. It is so expensive and incredibly disappointing. Your handy significant other does not want this save your money don’t buy this. And good luck trying to return it they make you pay the shipping then decline the return and charge you to ship it back. I see that mightytools responded and I had been corresponding with their “help” they have now discontinued communication and I still have a 5 dollar tape measure that cost a 100 bucks I can’t stress enough that the tool is a bad design and an incredibly cheap production/manufacturing. Avoid this tool and the company

We bought an Almighty Tools measuring tape as a Christmas gift and were very unhappy with it. It was taken out of the box for only a few minutes to insert batteries and test it, and it was extremely difficult to use. We returned it and paid the return shipping as required. After receiving it, the company refused our refund, claiming it was scratched and “obviously used,” which is completely untrue. It was barely handled and not damaged when sent back. Between the poor product and what feels like a convenient excuse to deny refunds, I would strongly caution others. Very disappointing customer service.

This tape measure is not what it was advertised to be. It’s not easy to use or intuitive at all, and figuring it out is frustrating. Customer service is another major issue—you cannot speak to a live person. Phone calls are not returned, and communication is limited to email only. I ordered one tape measure, but by the end of the checkout process it showed two for a total of $180, with no option to go back and correct it. I immediately emailed them explaining I only wanted one. They claimed it was fixed, but it wasn’t. I would not recommend buying this tool or any Tools from this company. Their refund policy is also misleading—you have to pay to ship the item back yourself. Despite their claim that the product ships from Albuquerque, it actually comes from Canada, and that’s where they require you to send returns. That alone is a red flag. There are too many things that aren’t right with this company. Save your money and spend a little more on a name-brand tool from a reputable company you can trust. This feels like a fly-by-night operation. I found them on Facebook and learned my lesson—be very careful buying tools advertised there.

I bought this for my husband for a Christmas gift but turns out he already has one. Went to return it and they were like so sorry past the 30 days…No extensions for Christmas! Now I will tell all to avoid The Almighty Tool!!!!!

I ordered an item from them that shipped November 21, 2025 and as of today January 16, 2026 I have not received it, tracking says it's being processed in customs for almost 2 months, I have emailed them requesting a refund or ship one from the U.S. and they just keep assuring me it will arrive. It's not going to freaking arrive! Do not order from them, definitely a scam company
