Sono Marika , ho 36 anni e ho ingerito la capsula per il palloncino il 25 febbraio di quest' anno. Ad oggi ho perso 22 kg e non è stata una passeggiata, dalle nausee nel periodo iniziale ai crampi che sporadicamente mi hanno colpita ma posso dire che per me ha rappresentato l'inizio di un percorso che dura ancora oggi e che dovrà continuare anche in futuro. Il mio peso iniziale era di 110 kg e come molti sono arrivata al palloncino dopo tante diete finite male ma mai con la convinzione che pagando avrei risolto il mio problema di obesità. Il palloncino ha rappresentato un aiuto a perdere con maggiore facilità una fetta di chili che da sola, affidandomi alla sola dieta, non avrei perso con la stessa velocità, cadendo nella frustrazione già nota delle diete precedenti ( due mesi, 10 kg, la stanchezza delle privazioni). Il senso di sazietà legato al palloncino mi ha aiutata ad abituarmi alle porzioni ridotte ma di una dieta sana ed equilibrata. Il paradigma "soldi=palloncino=chili in meno" non funziona senza impegno, mi viene da sdrammatizzare ribadendo una frase nota: i soldi non hanno mai comprato la felicità! Nel complesso la mia esperienza è stata positiva, consiglio il palloncino allurion sia per l'assistenza ricevuta pre e post impianto con i dottori Flagiello e Romano insieme alla nutrizionista Maisto, sia per i benefici ed i risultati raggiunti, per le nausee iniziali ho addirittura smesso di fumare. Sento di condividere un altro pensiero/consiglio a chi legge per decidere se fare oppure no l'impianto, che è quello di apprestarsi a questo "investimento" nell'ottica di voler apportare alla propria vita un cambiamento importante che parte dal modo di fare la spesa e riuscire a vedere il cibo per quello che è, un modo per nutrirsi e prendersi cura di se stessi e non sfogo, consolazione, rabbia, frustrazione, disagio, paura e sicuramente avrete da aggiungere. Spoke with Terry for 10 minutes and was provided with the information for the follow up call by the clinic. Happy with the level of information given today. Waiting on the clinic to get in touch and see what the next step will be.

El 6 de agosto fue mi instalación, un trámite, fue muy rápido y sin ninguna complicación , llevo 2 meses y he bajado 11kilos. El segundo día fue el más extraño, nunca sentí dolor, si malestar he incomodidad por tener un cuerpo extraño al interior del estómago al cual intenta expulsar. Tomando los medicamentos que te indican todo anda mejor, no comprar medicamentos más económicos. Después comencé con un poco de reflujo y muchos gases pero fueron disminuyendo, siempre acompañada por nutrí, doc y asistente del doc, excelente equipo!! Ahora con 2 meses puedo decir que me siento al 100% duermo excelente (al principio me costaba dormir para el lado izquierdo toda la noche) aún hay veces que siento como que late el balón (por la aorta) cuando me pongo de espalda!! Si me preguntan si lo recomiendo, mmm creo que tiene que ser alguien muy motivado en querer bajar y sentir incomodidad, por qué no es algo agradable, no sientes dolor, pero si te sientes extraña y puede que sin ánimo. Pero como dije ahora a los 2 meses me siento tan bien y feliz de mi baja y ganas de seguir, que a uno se le olvida un poco por lo que pasó

Really pleased I decided to go for the balloon! It has really changed my life for the better mentally and physically! Everyone who I’ve spoken to have been friendly and helpful. Only down side is I had to travel quite far but I believe since o have had mine there is more clinics now.

My doctor was great, everyone in the clinic was very helpful in getting me started and the placement was not too bad. I did spill water everywhere which was a little embarrassing on placement day but the staff were helpful in talking me through the process. Once I got home however I did feel a bit on my own and I was not sure what I should or should not be eating or drinking. After one week I was still feeling very sick and had to take more days off work than I wanted to which was a problem as the doctor said I wouldn't have to do that. I would have loved some more nutritional information before going home but the clinic did not provide too much guidence there. Since I have had the treatment I've lost nearly three stone so happy and feel better with myself, I do wish there was just a little more support from the clinic. I could feel the balloon in my tummy for around the first 3 months and didnt even notice it dissapearing. I am now quite determined to keep the weight off so I have joined a local gym and making healthier eating choices.

Im happy of the result and the medical team follow up on me all along. lets see if i can keep my gain on the longterm but i have a good start
